Question Shops in Toronto and Montreal

Hi guys!

Does anybody knows if there are shops selling nice aviation models or aviation stuff in Toronto or Montreal (Canada)?

Thanks in advance

Re: Shops in Toronto and Montreal

Aviation delights does not offer local pick up but cheaper shipping within Toronto

The other store that had a location in Vancouver & Toronto closed last year

Advance Hobbies are in town and they have a web site

Montreal is a tough one as I never heard of a Herpa store there!

I have seen too many diecast store close over the years!

Store fronts are too expensive with buyers wanting models for almost free!

Re: Shops in Toronto and Montreal

Aviation World and Threshold Aviation (located right by YYZ) offer 1:400 models and other items.

I was told by some co-workers about a store in Kitchener, but they dont carry 1:400/1:500 ..... mainly warplane 1:72.

There's also the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at YHM. Hope that helps

Aviation World is the store I could not remember the name, they closed the Vancouver location. Good store as I have bought from them before.

Just remember the province of Ontario has a 13% HST (Sales Tax)

Re: Shops in Toronto and Montreal

Hey!

Found this thread and was wondering if anyone knew of any places left in Vancouver, B.C. that sell Herpa Wings (1:500) or other 1:500 models?

I used to collect and would always go to Aviation World out by YVR.. my interest waned for a bit and during that time they closed.

Would definitely appreciate it if anyone knew of anywhere that might have!
