Rainer Modellbahn

Hi
I found a really cool shop in Innsbruck a couple of weeks ago. It was called Rainer Modellbahn and was by far one of the most beautiful shops I've ever visited! Glass shelves run from ceiling to floor and the whole room is clean and kinda feels like a surgery for models! Although the collection of Aviation models is limited, it's still a great visit!

Re: Rainer Modellbahn

Oh ok. It seemed pretty spectacular to me because model shops in the in the UK are all really cluttered and cramped! This particular shop was just so different from anything I had ever experienced. You over in Germany must have it so easy, model shops are becoming scarcer and scarcer in Scotland.

Re: Rainer Modellbahn

Germany is indeed a great country for modelling!

Btw, I'm not German. Here there aren't much model shops around too

Re: Rainer Modellbahn

Oh sorry.
Yes they seem to have it quite good, only the model railways are very expensive.( I am a railway modeler as well as aviation enthusiast).

I'm a railway modeler as well and ofcourse a aviation enthusiast, even more, professionaly i'm a train driver and curently i'm studying for my ppl licence as well.

I live close to germany and ever so often i try to go to a show here in Holland or in germany, i was told That in Great Britain there where a lot of shows. Is this True?

I'm particulary interested in building diorama's!
