Yes only 15 minutes by car! But I fear that the traffic will be horrendous down there...

Re: Pictures from aviation retail direct visit

Guys,

rather than opening a new thread.... Has anyone had any issues with carrying models in their had baggage? Not sure how security reacts to diecast models in hand baggage. Can anyone advise?

Crsidean...I have had extensive experience with carrying diecasts through security. Just advise them
in a calm and collective tone that you are a collector and that there are 1/400 diecast airplanes in your carry on. It is important that they are handled with care. Just be honest with them and you shouldn't have
any issues.

Their fine as long as you don't pile them one on top of the other , spread them about.
