China shops

Hello,

Am going to China two months from now.
I was just wondering if you guys know of any good shops selling 1:500 models, in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong or Xi'an, that are worth visiting?

Okay, have looked at the different threads about stores in these cities, but would be interested to get a little update and recommendations of some of them.

Which stores is worth a visit?
Which has the best prices?
Which have the most amounts of models, rare or not?
Which has is the best to find special models and rare ones?

These are the shops I find mentioned here on Wings900. Are all of these still open and active?

-Two shops in Vantone Mall (Beijing)
-CX shop (at HKG) (A little silly as it probbebly is)
-Toymax (in Hong Kong)
-Expresso Wings (Hong Kong)
-80M models (Hong Kong)
-West Main Toys (Hong Kong)
- Store in Peninsula hotel (Hong Kong)
-AeroShop (Hong Kong)

Then I have a question about a "Mong Kok" store in Pioneer Center and Langham Place, are these good as well?

And for Shanghai, are there any good shops there as well?

(Threds I found here on W900,)

"CX shop (at HKG) (A little silly as it probbebly is)"
There are a few shops in the airport terminal selling CX and Dragonair models.

-Toymax (in Hong Kong)
My favourite shop in Hong Kong. Always had a wide selection and friendly staff.

-West Main Toys (Hong Kong)
Again always had a very good selection. Had many inflight and rare models.

- Store in Peninsula hotel (Hong Kong)
There was a Cathay Pacific shop in the new tower part of the Peninsula. It only sold CX models.

Just wandering around HK you can find small shops selling models and some of the bus shops by the Star Ferry use to sell Herpa CX models.

Prices in Hong Kong always seemed good to me but I haven't been in 5 years so not sure if things have changed.

I never found any model shops in Beijing, Shanghai or Xian.

Interesting shops from my personal experience:

For Beijing:
Vantone Mall

For Hk:
West Main Toys
Toymax
(Others aren't that interesting and Expresso Wings doesn't exist anymore ;) )

For Shanghai:
Wingsworld China (or something like that)

For Xi'An:
Nothing

Okay, Thanks for the tips, will try to visit them all and have a look at what they have to offer. Maybe see if there are any other good shops in Hong Kong, interns of prices.

If anyone have any other suggestions and recommendations, please post these.
