Dear 1:500 collectors,

as it is quite a while that I have attended and posted on this forum as "flitestar69" (unfortunately I missed the forced change of passwords so
registered again) it is time to sell at least part of my huge plane collection.
I will just keep my similar extensive 1:400 and 1:200 collection and hopefully make my wife happy again clearing out a lot of boxes (and create room for more 1:200s).

What is up for sale ?

+1.500 models, all NG, from Aeroclassics 500, Big Bird, Herpa, Hogan, Inflight 500, Netmodels, Sky500, Starjets, 5Star and whatever their names were

Why ?

Where do I sell ?

I want to inform you first on this collector's forum before moving to the well known auction sites like the Bay (I am honestly no more prepared in paying +13% fees and accepting their strict rules). I just started to take some pictures of the first models and placed them exemplary on the Austrian site "Willhaben.at".

I just started to take the pictures and sort the boxes, it will probably take years to finish the task.

How do I sell ?

I suggest either directly on this forum or via the mentioned auction site "Willhaben.at" which means no additional buyers/sellers fees. Just ask me directly via this site or via springbok@drei.at.
Please give me some time to answer as I am full time working.

All my models are from my private personal collection, come with their original boxes, where kept in a smoke, pet, nearly dust free and dry environment, treated with loving collectors care.

How can we do business together ?

I always try to trust you and you can be sure that I will keep my word as I am one of those left over dinosaurs (this is why I love the L-188 Electra and their likes so much).
I accept PayPal, EU collectors please use SEPA transfer as this saves us costs.
I will ship with Austrian Postal Service (or other services like DPD, DHL if you prefer). I will post the shipping costs shortly.

How can you trust me ?

Unfortunately hard these times, I know, I myself unfortunately experienced some sad cases in my past 15 years of collection model planes. As reference you can check at the Bay (flitestar69) with currently 489 (positive) stars, the one or another probably has dealt with me in the past. So let's try.

What do I want ?

Sell my models of course, preferably to collectors wanting to build up or add to their collections. I can't give away my models for free but I hope to get a fair price, especially for some very rare sets from Hogan, Big Bird or the many sold out Herpa models. Hope to hear from you soon. Just ask.
