Re: Corsair Model for Database

This isn't a Gemini model. It's just a Socatec model in a GJ box. I have the same model and the same box. Ordered from Hong Kong.

Re: Corsair Model for Database

Ah so it should be in the database? I was wondering why it wasn't. Why is it in a GJ box then? We probably bought it from the same vendor

Re: Corsair Model for Database

The Socatec model is already in the database. It's probably because they bought the models cheap without their original boxes. Hence why 'Gemini Jets' is entitled on the box.

I presume this is the model you have (as I do): Socatec 1:400 Corsair B 747-422 - Wings900 ID# 19111

It's a real shame it doesn't have the original box though.

It's always a good idea to look and see if the model is made by someone else in the same scale. I suspected that to be the case here too. I often buy models from certain Hong Kong dealers and often the models always seem to arrive in the wrong box!

Often in generic white boxes branded by various manufacturers, but no hint of what the actual model is inside the box. I'm glad we found the correct answer to this!

Cheers Lou
