New Airport Pictures

Hello Everybody,

My dream has come true. Thanks to a local printer, I am now able to print my complete airport design in one full sheet of material, 4 feet by 8 feet. I have included pictures to show you how the design looks all put together.

In addition, I have created a new website, Model Airports and Airliners, where you can purchase copies of these designs. I have both 1:400 and 1:500 scale designs. The airports are printed in high quality vinyl, the same type used for outdoor banners.

And to thank you guys for all your support and help throughout the years, I am offering an exclusive coupon for $10 off your total purchase. Use coupon JET10. This coupon is good until the end of this month (June 30, 2010). If you decide to use the coupon, make sure to put it in the shopping cart, otherwise PayPal will not register the discount.

Anyway, check out the pictures, check out the website and tell me what you think.

P.S. I can also do custom designs!

Re: New Airport Pictures

Your airports are looking better and better, especially now that the seams are gone. It's good to see businesses like these still running, and with the quality of print your offering I hope most decide to buy this instead of the Herpa product. Thanks for sharing!

Re: New Airport Pictures

I would buy one of these layouts in a shot compared to those Gemini/Herpa ones, that is some seriously nice printing right there

Re: New Airport Pictures

Your airport looks really good.
First i thought this is another thread about Gemini Jet's airport mat.
Can you just tell me what is the radius of the taxi ways you've made?
mines seem to be alittle small..XD

Re: New Airport Pictures

Nice airport and mat you've created! I really like the cargo area.
But your Runway is a little bit to short for a heavy.

Re: New Airport Pictures

Of course its short, in scale it would be about 10 to 13 metres in length!

Re: New Airport Pictures

I have several mats available that hold different amount of planes. Also, if you are interested, I can also do "custom" designs.

Everything in the mat is to scale, except for the length of the runway. I did this on purpose so that I could fit the "entire" runway in the diorama. I think it looks better like this, rather than a cut-off runway.

Re: New Airport Pictures

Nice to see a large layout in one single MAT. I'm sure you have a product that will be a hot seller. Good luck.

The price for the mats is $197 plus shipping. In your case, unfortunately, I would have to add FL sales tax (bummer). But, you can use the JET10 coupon to get $10 off the price.

But it looks more realistic if you cut off the runway. You did it with the streets and apron as well. Maybe you wanna make a second mat to expand your existing one. Than it would make sense.
