Blackwood International Airport..
Hi, just wanted to show you the airport I am making..
It is based on.:
- Gatwick Pier 1
- Copenhagen midfield parking for props
- Toulouse paint hangars
- Paris Orly stands
Tomorrow I will post the entire airport as it should be because it still has work in progress..

Thank you, it is scale 1:400 and the size is about 1,25m x 1.25m but have to make it a bit more perfect..
All this thank to Google Maps and a very scale converter..
I like the blue better than the green so will change that..

Looks really good! The green walkways to the rear air stairs are very typical of Gatwick indeed!

This is a beautiful layout! I like that it represents a composite of some of the best features of several different airports. Also, the meticulous detail, and very fine lines of the ground markings are exquisite. I can't wait to see more!

The midfield section is a great inclusion in this project. You are going to have a lot of fun with that! I can already envision all of the action taking place during the busy mid-day arrival / departure time slots. My guess is that you could also throw in a few little Fokkers. Amazing job!

This looks incredible! Such fantastic detail, I love you've taken inspiration from different airports and brought them all together to create your own masterpiece.
Out of interest is there a difference between the blue and green walkways, or is this just the different locations doing thing differently?

There is no difference between the blue and green walkways.. I was trying which one looked better and I went for blue.. Every airport can choose which they want I think..
