My little 1:500
Hey there.
Nothing special, only my little Apron with Terminalbuildung to show my collection and some scenes from a airpor.
Greetings,
Nik

To each their own taste in airports Nik, and if you like to present your fleet in a simplistic way with a small diorama, and it makes you happy, then that's great!

Basic but functional and, as Thom already stated, it makes you happy...wonderful.
Well done and thanks for sharing more models and activity.

My thoughts aswell! A nice little diorama, to show your models in a more dynamic way

Re: My little 1:500
What I love about this hobby is everybody has something different to bring to the table. From bold and complex, to small, simple yet functional. From multiple developments to single creations. Again it may be civvy or may be military. Ultimately we love aircraft, airports and everything aviation.
FlyNikki, you took time to create your Apron layout, arrange your aircraft, strategically (or randomly) place your GSEs, take the pics, upload and share. So when you say 'Nothing special', I beg to differ. Because all of that is what makes it SPECIAL. Everyone has something different to share. So keep contributing.

Re: My little 1:500
what an interesting diorama you there...the simpler the better. Which airport have you based this airport on? Looks nice because it is simple!!!

Re: My little 1:500
I like the display of your airplane collection in a fantasy airport. You have included ample ground support for the fleet, and even though it is a small airport, it is quite complete. Thanks for sharing it with us here!

Wow a really biiiiig change indeed FlyNikki. Start small then expand and increase. I like this. Much more of a working airport look about the place. The terminal works well in the setting. Very good arrangement indeed. Keep things going here.

Re: My little 1:500
Really great evolution of this airport project! First of all, I love that the entire built area is set at a slight angle to the edge of the board and not parallel to it; although this does come at the cost of some loss of space for models and/or other buildings, I think the enhanced visual interest and increased beauty of the diorama as a whole makes up for that! I also think that the quality of the ground markings is excellent, and the overall organization of the space is extremely well thought out. Finally, I enjoyed the effect of the first photo in this series--it is what a passenger sitting on the left side of a plane would see while looking out the window towards the terminal.
Amazing airport--thanks for sharing it with us here!
Pete
