It really is beautiful model.
I'm only 14 so I also struggle with bugdet restraints. I only get models at my birthday or at christmas. I can very occasionally save up enough to buy a model but I tend to shop around first.

Nice carriages Oskar. I subscribed to your Youtube channel, great videos by the way!

Thanks, Magnus.

Edit: I actually almost ended up on TV because of my train videos. We filmed a pilot episode, but the project fell through due to lack of interest. And this was a serious project on behalf of ITV Studios.

Wow that's really cool. It's a shame it didn't air. I would have loved to see that!

Yeah, so would i. I was told i could see my episode, but despite e-mailing the person in charge of the project, and hearing back from her, i haven't seen a single second of it.

Yes, well, last i heard they were going to try to sell the show to the networks again. Though i can't remember when that was, i do remember the name of the show. So if i ever see it in the TV-guide, i will watch it. Technically though i shouldn't even speak about it as i've signed a contract.

So i probably shouldn't go into any greater detail. But i think you can pretty much guess what the show was about.

Re: All Aboard! (All things Railways).

Is anyone asking for any railway related things for Christmas this year?
I personally am not but I will hopefully get some money and invest in a new locomotive to add to my collection.

Oh man, I know how you feel. You could speak gibberish about railways and they would agree with what you are saying. What I do when I want a model is ensure that I have a link that they just click and buy, so everyone is happy!

Re: All Aboard! (All things Railways).

Heh, my mom doesn't even do that. She's just quiet, apart from the occasional "You know i don't understand, right?"

Same reason why i prefer to buy my models on my own. I can be pretty picky with the models i want, and i can give a detailed description most times. But if someone in my family goes to buy it, they will forget details or buy some kind of compromise instead. For example, as in the case of a lot of Swedish models, it might be the same paint scheme, but the wrong logo.

Re: All Aboard! (All things Railways).

Frustrating indeed. It hasn't happened with model trains yet, but it has happend with other gifts when i was younger. Thankfully they have learned, so i am in full charge of my train shopping.
