Krystian is being brutally honest. The truth hurts, but suck it up and learn from your mistakes, you'll be a stronger man from them.

God knows where I live, in the middle of no where, there is no one else who does this, so I seek fellow collectors from around the world.

I do find it frustrating at times as there are those of you that have known each other a very long time and sometimes it’s tough to break into those groups. I also hate to compete with those post we complain about and then join them such as “who has flown on 747” , “which aircraft have you flown on that you own the model” , who has flown through what cities on the left hand side of the plane on a Sunday picking their nose with their right hand” posts.

I have also argued for a paid site where serious collectors can get together and learn from fellow serious collectors and yes that is another debate and yes I also agree that we do not need a paid site to accomplish what I think many of us already do. Like many of us, my time is valuable and I do not post or belong to DAC or any other board so I like to be involved and read relevant post and be part of the solution by contributing positively.

The counter should go as we can pick our own silly or fun titles or positions and who cares who has what number of posts. How many people comment on each issues with “wow I need to get that” or “ that is a must have” sure I did it for a while for about 17 posts but I was young, new to the board, easily influenced and I didn’t know any better however I did not inhale.

Grammer will always be an issue but with so many people from all over the world, is it really a concern. English is English we have the Queens's English, We have American, we have Aussie English , red neck and hillibillie English, I do not think it's a big deal as so many people have English as a second language. I have six titles behind my name and I still cant spell "the" and need my assistant to proof read all of my work, as microsoft has not yet developed Word or Office to a level that works for me!

Lots of godo stuff on this board and this is a good discusssion. Lots of volunteers behind this and I think we forget that at times. I still do not know who the Gods or mini Gods or wanna be Gods are on this site so I treat everyone the same.

Well there my two cents .........

That was a good read, good points, no pictures though so I didn't get it. Did you know we joined the same time?

But I never denied that there were people with trouble on grammar and spelling. I'm just saying, we'll get at you guys until you fix up your mistakes and type up something that looks a bit more proper.

I'm not aiming for perfection, and we have been doing this for years and it had a high success rating. We only have been having issues lately because of the fact we have been severely limited by how much we can go around since the times we disaffectionately called "NooBie seasons" (usually used to run late Sept/Oct, late Dec, late march/April) seem to have stopped working and now all the time is "NooB Season." So we're getting more than we can handle, not to mention the influx of PC-thought that joined over the last year.

Agree 100%. I guess I might be breaking one of the rules here but Dylan you should follow these rules or at least look them over!!! Especially number 1 and 3. O and maybe number 6. (Also I am not picking a fight Dylan, you really need to respect me and others too.)
Trust me, dylan to many may come off as a screaming rude lunatic to most at first, but once you get to know the guy a bit better, he'll possibly be one of your favorite members. Not to mention, the guy is really well established in Airport Diorama building. You should see his work.

I bet he is. And I never said that you denied that people have trouble with grammer and spelling. It was more of a direct comment toward Captain Wahoo. He said that you were right and I disagree with him thinking that you were. And what is with the word Noob. You guys are like we are happy when new members join and then the next thing you do is call those new members including myself a NOOB! Please stop!!!

I never called you a NooB, I label you more of a Newbie, which is a WHOLE lot respectable and what we all start out as. I please invite you to read the following masterpiece.

The LOT 737-300 guide on determinaing between Newb, NooB, and n00b.

O, I have to admit that is pretty funny and also fairly interesting. Thank you for labeling me as a Newbie (I guess it's better than the others). Great piece of work and you should send that out to more people!!!

People lets all stay calm. Lets all get back to what this website was designed for and have a good time. Lets all push ourselves to make this website a place you can come to to melt away the stress of the day.

This is what I was talking about. Nag nag nag. Pick apart everything someone says or does. Single out the bad things. Try to point out something good for a change, eh?
