F-18superhornetLBC is flying under the radar
R.I.P. Asaina 747-400

So my very first model was basically destroyed by my little sister.
It has no engines 3 and 4
and no gear at all.

Oh and I forgot it has no tail section.
Here are some pics.

Re: R.I.P. Asaina 747-400

OMG.........the little lady obliterated it
Looks like she may have tried to eat some of it too.

On the good news side of things...this is an OG Herpa , that while long discontinued - should be easy enough to pick up again relatively cheaply.

Watch out for your sister in the future , little people are very quick !

Yea. That hurts to look at. I dont want to see any model end up like that. Its painful. What did she do to that thing to make it look like that? It looks like that model took an emergency landing on a belt sander upside down.

This reminds me, its time to childproof and earthquake proof my cabinates before my entire collection looks like that.

I feel for you, the same thing happened to my 1:500 TWA 747. It's just, all it is is wings, fueselage and elevators . I decided to turn it into the Fire Dept. training aircraft so it still has it's use on my airport keeping the passengers of Brookefield safe. RIP Asiana 747

Eh, nothing that electrical barbed wire shouldn't prevent in the future.

But yeah, its best to keep these things on a shelf where they can't get to them very easily, or at least try to keep them in a safe place where she might not be able to get to them, speaking of which, where did you have the model when she got a hold of it.

Hey, model plane manufactures, how about some Braniff PZL 230Fs.

Well....... his sister is kinda like a little kid who wants to break everything. She was 8 when it happened but she's 11 now. I'm sure that if F-18superhornetLBC bought any planes at all, they'd be instantly destroyed by the savage beast that is his sister
