Wow Julian , that's another tough one. Not enough mountains in the background for most Austrian airports capable of aircraft that size. At first I thought smallish airport in Germany as a lot over there used to use air-stairs that were uncovered, perhaps somewhere like Dusseldorf. But the cars are not German which pretty well rules that out. Also the grass looks sun-burnt. Interesting low-loader type passenger buses - never seen those before.

I am guessing somewhere in Spain. Perhaps Palma da Mallorca???

There is also a aircraft from the home carrier.
(Picture was made sometime in the ninetees)

Yes there is water in the background. (not the danube/donau)
Have a close look on the blue bus. There are five rings on it.
The home carrier airplane has also five rings on the tail.
And planespotters loving the airport!
