That is looking so good. Great work.

Hey Captain, good news. I finally solved the whole UV lighting situation. I bought low-voltage halogen track light fixtures that have a glass lens that blocks 100% of the UV radiation (It even says so on the lens). It only cost $49.00 for a set that includes 3 lights, the track and all the needed hardware (cheap, but not cheap-looking). Also, I found that if you use fluorescent lighting, you can purchase a shield that covers each bulb and blocks 97% UV radiation. Finally, I also found special halogen bulbs that emit close to zero UV radiation (these were $11.00 each - ouch!).
BTW - haven't had time for box #2, but it's coming

That's cool. But a bit pricy by the sounds of things.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to check what I have first and then probably bid on a few of them. I also need to learn german in the next few days.

I'm no expert, but I think he need will need more than 2 words to communicate properly

As usual, you are right on point Kevin. But remember, he listens to a german band, so he must know at least three words.

My new airplane room is ready just in time for Christmas. It's about 95% done, all I need is some minor tweaking and some paint and I'm done. I'll start bringing planes in as soon as I get back from vacation. I bought 200 brackets and 100 - 12" x 24" glass shelves just to start. I'll add more later as needed.

That looks terrible Well wait... you said you did most of that yourself? No wonder it looks so bad!

Crap, I'm a terrible liar Looks very nice, esp. considering how much you did yourself - most contractors (around here at least) charge quite a bit and it *does* look like crap!

Thanks Kevin. The pictures are horrible, but once I get the shelving in, add some models and adjust the lighting, I think we'll be able to get better depth perception. Now I got some decisions to make. Do I display my models (now 1300+) by type of aircraft or by airline

Thanks K'. Right now I have them by aircraft, but I'm I'm leaning towards fleets for the new room. Pan Am will surely look awesome!
