How are gas prices where you live?

Last week when I filled up my car (in the Orlando area), gas (known as petrol to some of you outside the US) was at $2.81 (as opposed to $2.73 the week before). Now I've noticed that gas went up another nine cents to 2.89 today. And this is just the regular stuff. Just wondering what the gas prices are where some of you guys live, are there any drastic increases in price?

Still sitting around $2.75 here in Minnesota. But that's projected to change in 5 weeks when it boils over $3.00.

I know how it feels, for me, most of that gas is burnt because I'm trying to get out of my school's parking lot, which once the bell rings, turns into a traffic jam. On usual day, I burn one or two gallons while waiting to get out.

Yeah but I usually spend $50 filling half of it, I luckily try to do it often as for the short term everytime I go $20 isn't as bad as $75 or something like that if I was at Zero. But I gotta try and get a new car that will beat my car's 15MPG, although I really want to get an old T-Bird to fix up, but wouldn't help.

Seeing how most drivers in America use regular unleaded, I'm pretty sure that it's implied. Just my two cents.

Well that and the fact that new cars's chip is tuned towards the regular gas octane level, which is around 85 or 86 Octane. The premium and plus contain higher octance levels which simply dictate the level and pressure at which the fuel will combust. Higher is better for acceleration, not constant cruise as in its small differences higher octanes can work against your car. But for older cars not tuned to operate and run engine acceleration with 85 octane.
