$2.69 In Pembroke, Mass that is the cheapest I have seen. $2.79 seems to be the average in Mass. $2.95 in East Boston that is the most I have seen so far

Talking The reason gas prices are falling (at least in the USA)

Yesterday was 'Labor Day' in the USA, right? Isn't that supposed to be the end of 'the driving season'? Isn't gas supposed to rise at the start of the 'driving season', whatever the underlying cost of a barrel of crude, and presumably fall at its end?
This has fascinated me for years, this 'driving season' phenomenon. What, do you all put your cars away on Labor Day and not get them out 'til next Memorial Day? Do you all go by bus the rest of the year?

Though that is the genreal trend in previous years, this year the price started dropping before Labor Day. And yes, some people actually do "put their cars away for the winter" and take the bus, which I think is a great idea. But the amount of driving in summer goes up because people travel for vacations. And driving has become "more popular" with the occurrence of 9/11.

I live chicago and we are reported to now have the highest gas prices in the country even against California becuase of all the stupid sales tax and the import tax, so we are at about 2.90 at the local speedway. Thank you Mr.Blagojevich

What annoys me about Britian is they say that due to "the current situation..." they have to raise prices. Not just in fuel but so much other stuff....but they never lower them again!!! Even when fuel prices go down we're still paying through the nose! Thank you Labour!

Been driving around town, on Friday, I filled up my tank before I went off to UCF. I noticed that at the Sams Club it is at $2.589. Other prices I've seen seem to say around $2.719. I just hope that they don't start to drasically rise, but we know it will happen.
