Hi to everyone
after having forgotten my old account and every data to it, I just opened a new account on wings900.com.
I am a collector of flying objects since around 20 years, mainly focussing on the scale of 1:500, on Aer Lingus, Lufthansa, A320s, A340s, B731s, and B732s.
My start of collecting was a little strange: I suffer a bit of fear of flying, but I had to (and still have to) use planes for professional reasons. So I learned much about the technology of planes and their robustness when reading several professional articles and whatching and analysing videos of hard landings and other mishaps on YouTube.
The technology is fascinating to me, and so are the details of the models (even 20 years ago).
2016 I had around 1,750 models altogehter, more than 1,350 of which were in the scale of 1:500. Meanwhile it's getting less and less, because I do sell (or give away for free) quite some 500 models (to now), and the new models got far to expensive to me, to continue collecting like I did.
After having contributed some posts years ago, and after having read only this forums for several years, I decided to add my view here and there again. Hope to have good talk here.
