This forum is mostly liberal, look at the Brexit poll and how out of touch most members are, the majority here though the UK was staying.

Similarly if you can't enjoy a hobby without continued efforts to bait a member over their religion or political ideas you need to get more than a new hobby. You need to look at what sort of individual you are

There are places in the world where you get thrown in jail for making fun of religions or their leaders and politicians. Here you get banned. Speedbird48 got his wish.

I agree that sometimes I am over sensitive. However on some topics you crossed the line. Making fun of refugees for example. When people made fun of Islam, it made me feel unwelcome in this country, despite me having lived here my entire life. Instead of seeing me as a passionate young man with potential, I felt people saw me as a liability. Seeing all sorts of negative stuff in the news, and all over the Internet really gets to me sometimes, and I guess over here was the straw that broke the camels back. Irish was a nice guy, and I sincerely hope I made up with him. I feel this ban is going to be very beneficial for this community, threads like the Too Funny and Post Wjat You find cool are going to become things to actually provide enjoyment, instead of serve as venting places for people with political agenda. And I am speaking collectively as I say that.

I disagree with the money they earn but it's a skill and with a lot of hard knocks and endless hours of training,one bad tackle can end a career....

There is plenty of stuff about refugees here but with the new rule I am not going to dig it up. I respect your opinion even though I disagree even though Christians face similar accusations at times, but I think we have drifted into the danger zone enough.

Oh please, what skill... they're not artists, engineers or published profs, they kick or throw balls at each other. Any blue collar job requires more stress and fatigue than sport, but they don't earn as much... the millions in those industry are just sad... given especially how vulgar these people are in displaying their new money attitude.

That's the difference to a lot of people Football's a religion (sorry furry),South America most of Europe but i doubt swimming gets the same following apart from a few,Micheal Phelps for instance,just because you have no interest in the game don't slag it off...

I respect the game, I am disgusted by huge stipends for people with no useful skills that could be used in hundreds of ways which could benefit the needy. As the Romans said "panem et circenses", it's exactly how you keep the uneducated quiet... they didn't have football in the 18th century when revolution, science had a boom and the modern era began... anyway. Off-topic. Let's stop it here.
