I'd have to say all time would be Top Gun....

That movie influenced my life a lot. But of all airliner type movies I would vote for the Airport movies..notably Airport '75.

"Crowded Sky", from back in the 60's. All-star cast, strangely interesting "personal stories" of passengers and crew on a DC-7 that gets hit by a Navy jet in mid-air. Port inboard prop flys off and tears into the cabin, plane depressurizes, FE gets sucked out, passengers freak, pilot and co-pilot fight the thing all the way down. Go find it!!! You won't be sorry!!!

I forgot one that I REALLY liked. Stepehn King's "Langoliers" this movie lets you think twice about falling asleep on a plane.

Thumbs up PUSHING TIN!!!

This is a great movie! You get a much better understanding of what the Air Traffic Controllers go through. Rent it if you haven't seen it yet! Although I must say that the volleyball scene in Top Gun can't be beat!

Yes that would be mine, too, followed by "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines" and "No Highway in the Sky." I'm not too keen on that violence-aboard-jetliners genre of movies.

"Spirit of St Louis" with Jimmy Stewart too (of course he starred in No Highway ...) was a fine movie as well.

Of course I would be game to watch anything with a DC-7 in it. I caught sight of one landing in an episode of "X Files" and also in the end of "American Graffiti."

Mine would be Airport 77, Air Force One, Airplane 1&2, Turbulence 1&2, Sonic Impact 2, The Delta Force, and Executive Decision. Concorde 77 is actually Airport 79.

What about Passenger 57? Executive Decision was a GREAT movie. TOP GUN, need I say more?

Also I remember this one movie that was based on a true story. This Hawaiian airplane was flying and this kid saw this tear in the ceiling, and a section of the fuselage got ripped off. I forgot the name of it. But it was a good movie.

Also, don't forget Alive!
