British Airways Concorde 'red tail' 1/500

Here's another one of my last finished, a British Airways Concorde, reg. G-BOAC, in 1974 'Negus Negus' (red tail) colors. At last another of my dreams come true! Other than the new livery I've added the front gear doors and I'm considering the possibility to add the tail wheels. This project was postponed for so long, it's the first Concorde custom (the second on my collection) and sure many others will follow.Enjoy!

Well, I already have the BA "Pearl Grey" for Landor uppersurface, on my paint stock, my only problem is to find the exact belly color which don't seems to me a pure black, but rather a very dark blue...

British Airways 777-200 'Chelsea Rose' 1/500

Here's my fourth World tail custom, a British Airways 777-200ER, reg. G-VIIS, World tail 'Chelsea Rose', in 1/500 scale. I must confess I'm becoming addicted of those nice World tails, shame they are no more.

One question Sergio,

What models did you use as donor to this beauty?

Re: British Airways 777-200 'Chelsea Rose' 1/500

I've used Air France 772 F-GSPL, had to paint the belly, engines and the stabs, the later on AF are white, on BA they are grey like the wings.

Re: British Airways 777-200 'Chelsea Rose' 1/500

Nice work Sergio. I asked this because wasn't seeing any B772 in 1/500 scale with a blue belly and old dark grey gears. I could use the BA B772 with normal livery, probably you wouldn't have too much work painting the belly with the right blue.

Already tought about this, but BA 772s are becoming rare and expensive as donors.

The BA B772 is hard to find for less than 20Euro...
