British Airways Concorde G-BOAG 1/500

Here's my third Concorde custom, another British Airways Concorde 102, reg. G-BOAG, "1980s - Landor" colors, 1/500 scale. I've bought this one last year from eBay at very cheap price to serve me as donor, she had the tail and engines heavily yellowed and lacked the front tyres. Then I've decided to keep her livery, only change the reg., but a repaint was really needed. When I tried to remove the main gears to paint the engines one of them broke, so I had to restore it. After the masking and painting I've glued back the main gears and added new resin front tyres and applied the new regs.

Thanks Oskar! I'd much prefer the Negus - red tail livery or the AF's Shark tail, only seens on two machines. But I'm eager to make one day the Pepsi one and be able to get the Coke fantasy sample.

Here's the first of my last two finished Utopia tail customs, a British Airways 777-200ER, reg. G-RAES, "Delftblue Daybreak - The Netherlands - World tail" colors. British Airways HS-121 Trident 3B 1/500

Fresh from the decal application, here's a British Airways HS-121 Trident 3B, reg, G-AWYZ, 1974 "Negus" red tail colors, in the early 80s when the "Airways" title was dropped. G-AWYZ was the first built Trident 3B. I was looking to make this one since quite long time, I still can't believe this one was never made to date, so I stepped in. I published her even if I didn't applied the white regs on the rear fuselage, which I hope to find soon. This one just became one of the stars of my collection, I like her so much for some reasons:
- 1 because it's a three holer, well actually a "three and half" holer;
- 2 because of the unique landing gear configuration;
- 3 because of the red tail livery.

For sure some others will follow when time comes, too bad the only available donors have red wings, which make customizing a bit more difficult...

http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps1f8963da.jpg
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps5d61ab07.jpg

For me the "Negus Negus" red tail livery is, on my oppinion, one of the niciest that ever graced the skies. :tt1::tt1: Here's a family shot of some red tails:

"The only 5 engined*, 3 engine airplane in the world."

I love it. Personally i prefer the Landor livery, but this ain't bad either.

*For those who don't know that's 3 engines for entire flight, 1 take-off engine and APU.

Jeesh, how many B747's OneWorld does BA have? But they sure look great Sergio! Well done, as usual.. Doesn't it get boring to read me complimenting you over and over again?

Thank you, you don't bore me at all!!! BA painted 9 744s in Oneworld colors. Strangely only 744s, I wonder why BA didn't paint other types in Oneworld colors.

British Airways ERJ-145 Kogutki 1/500

This one was postponed for very long, since when I lived in Italy. Now at last she is finished!!! Here's a British Airways ERJ-145, reg. G-EMBC, World tail - "Kogutki Lowickie" colors, 1/500 scale. The reason for postponing were the decals, to finish this one was necessary trimming and hand painting to correct the mistakes. By coincidence the donor, a Herpa British Airways ERJ-145, had the same reg.

fantastic custom Sergio...I love it...the Koguty Lowicky was a great world tail...wish the now retired G-BNLT had it on when she retired...actually I wish she wasn't retired in the first place...(like the other BA B744s which are now retired)...

Ciao Homzie, yes i have the beautiful British Airways B737-400 Union Jack made by Sergio.
But it is a shame that Herpa did not produce her and they must release this wonder!

British Airways A318 pair 1/500

Just finished a pair of British Airways ACJ318 (A318-100/CJ), because the Herpa made became so rare and hard to find. The first is registered G-EUNA.

http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps515rlakb.jpg

The second is registered G-EUNB.

Registration aside the only difference between them is the position of the rear CUT HERE markings, on G-EUNB they are positioned one window behind.
