Re: PT-TAA British Airways custom models
WOW Sergio, good to see the BA B767 in the Russia World Tail...sad to see her leave the fleet! G-ZZZC is a rare bird as it is still one of the earlier B777 (non-ER ones) in the BA fleet which won't be with BA for long...G-VIIM and G-VIIN are fabulous as well, the collector who has ordered them has great taste!!! The last pic reminds me of London Heathrow from the late 1990s with so many colourful World Tails, too bad someone didn't like them!!!

Re: PT-TAA British Airways custom models
That's a massive world tails fleet Sergio. It's hard to comprehend the sheer size of your workings by all the individual posts!

Re: PT-TAA British Airways custom models
A couple more, both 737s. The first is a 737-200Adv, reg. G-BKYB, 1997 - World tail "Blue Poole" colors. She was delivered to British Airways on September 1984, wore Negus, then Landor colors, named "River Stour", before being painted in World tail colors on October 1997. She left BA on May 2000 and went to Aerolineas Argentinas on December same year. She flew for Aerolineas, as LV-ZXC, until November 2009, then, after a long storage, she went to Lineas Aereas del Sur, on January 2011, where she flew until retirement; she was stored at OPF on January 2014 and scrapped there.

G-BKYE, 1997 - World tail "Water Dreaming" colors. British Airways received it from Boeing on November 1984, named "River Lagan"; she was the last 737 to be delivered in Negus colors; she received the Landor livery in 1987, got British Airways Birmingham titles on January 1993, then painted in "Water Dreaming" colors on February 1998. She left BA on April 1999 and went to Comair on May 1999, registered ZS-OLA. She left Comair on December 2010. She was to be delivered to Bhoja Airlines, but wasn't taken up. Stored. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...5b51f5f3_o.jpgTXCS0375_British_Airways_737-200Adv_Water_Dreaming_G-BKYE_1 by Sergio Lins de Holanda Teixeira, su Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...180a13f5_o.jpgTXCS0375_British_Airways_737-200Adv_Water_Dreaming_G-BKYE_2 by Sergio Lins de Holanda Teixeira, su Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...56e851eb_o.jpgTXCS0375_British_Airways_737-200Adv_Water_Dreaming_G-BKYE_3 by Sergio Lins de Holanda Teixeira, su Flickr So far the 737-200s are my favourite among those who got the World tail livery!!:love::love: |
Re: PT-TAA British Airways custom models
Long life for these 737-200s Sergio, I'm glad you represented them while they were at their best!
