British Airways A318 pair 1/500

Just finished a pair of British Airways ACJ318 (A318-100/CJ), because the Herpa made became so rare and hard to find. The first is registered G-EUNA.

The second is registered G-EUNB.

Registration aside the only difference between them is the position of the rear CUT HERE markings, on G-EUNB they are positioned one window behind.

Nice Sergio. Have G-EUNA myself, but it's not as detailed as yours.

Re: PT-TAA British Airways custom models

After two and half years, time to bring this thread back to life! To do that I just finished a batch of 6 new World tails. The first is a 747-400, reg. G-BNLC, 1997 colors, "Colum/Dove" tail, 1/500 scale. The real machine was delivered to BA in February 1989 and named "City of Cardiff", painted in "Colum" colors from 1999 to 2003, then to Union Flag current colors. She left the fleet in October 2008 and scrapped in Cardiff in November 2011, ironically in the place who gave its name.

The second is a 747-400, reg. G-BNLT, 1997 colors, "Koguty Lowickie" tail, 1/500 scale. The 1/1 scale plane was delivered to BA on 19/03/1991 and withdrawn on 01/04/2014, exactly 4 years ago!

The third is a 747-400, registered G-CIVC, 1997 colors, "Delftblue Daybreak" tail, 1/500 scale. She's still active in BA, flying since February 1994; wore "Delftblue Daybreak" colors from 1999 to 2003 and is flying in Oneworld colors since 2009.

The fourth is a 747-400 registered G-CIVN, 1997 colors, "Delftblue Daybreak" tail, 1/500 scale. The tail has the same name as of G-CIVC's, its design, however, is different. Delivered new on 29/09/1997, already in World tail colors, flew in that livery until May 2004. She is still active.

The fourth is 777-200ER, reg. G-VIIP, 1997 colors, "Colum - Dove" tail, 1/500 scale. Delivered new to BA in 1999, she wore "Colum" colors until mid 2004, she is still active.

The fifth and last for this batch is a 757-200, reg. G-BIKN, 1997 colors, "Rendezvous - pink" tail, 1/500 scale. One of the four different Rendezvous designs; of the others, one had grey background, one had yellow and the other none. Delivered new to BA in January 1985, named "Bodiam Castle", received the "Rendezvous" livery in 1999 and left BA fleet in November 2001. After freighter conversion she went to DHL Air in 2003 and flew there until retirement in 2015. Scrapped. One of the early 757s with RB.211-535C engines, notice the diferent naceles.

Family picture, together with four more, already published some years ago. Soon to depart to Germany.
