Now the next six finished, all Virgin Atlantic 747-400s! The first is registered G-VAST, 1999 colors, named "Ladybird". The real machine was delivered to Virgin Atlantic on June 1997 and is still active.

The second is registered G-VGAL, 1999 colors, named "Jersey Girl". The real machine was built for Alitalia but not taken up - Alitalia instead opted for the 777-200ERs - and should have been registered EI-CVH. Was delivered to Virgin Atlantic on April 2001. Active.

The third is registered G-VLIP, 1999 colors, named "Hot Lips". The real machine was built for Alitalia but not taken up, should have been registered EI-CVI. Was delivered to Virgin Atlantic on May 2001. Still carrying pax for Virgin.

The fourth is registered G-VROM, 1999 colors, named "Barbarella". The real machine was built for Alitalia but not taken up, should have been registered EI-CVJ. Was delivered to Virgin Atlantic on May 2001. On November 2009 she was leased to Aerosur, re-registered CP-2603, named "S˙per TorÝsimo". Returned to Virgin on March 2012 and is still flying for the Bristish carrier. On 29/12/2014 this one landed at LGW with the right outboard gear not fully extended, thankfully without any damage.

The fifth is registered G-VROS, 1999 colors, named "English Rose". The real machine built for Alitalia but not taken up, should have been registered EI-CVG. Was delivered to Virgin Atlantic on March 2001. Renamed "Forever Young" on February 2019. Active.

Beauty Queens
Interesting to see so many 747-443! I would love to see the 400 in Alitalia colors, but I must say that I'm glad AZ didn't take them! Simply because they would have been retired already at this point. With Virgin, they still have some service left.

Re: PT-TAA 1/400 scale Customs.

I agree with Thom, the Virgin Queens are super stunning, Sergio. I may contact you regarding two Emirates A380s but I’m still deciding which registrations I want but whichever I choose has been painted into the Expo liveries (Green, Orange or Blue)! The donor model is A6-EUC, GeminiJets with the new Expo2020 decals!

Re: PT-TAA 1/400 scale Customs.

Three more, all 757s, all Air 2000! The first is registered G-OOOB, 1996 colors. The real metal was delivered to Air 2000 on April 1987. During it's career in Air 2000 she was leased to British Airways (Nov 87 - Apr 88), Canada 3000 Airlines (Dec - Apr every year until 1998, registered C-FOOB) and Royal Airlines (C-FRYH - Dec 98 - Mar 99). Transfered to First Choice Airways on March 2004, leased to Astraeus From December 2004 until October 2007. Converted to Freighter on April 2009 and taken by Arrow Air. Stored at Marana on August 2010, then at Roswell from January 2012 until being scrapped there in 2013.

The second is registered G-OOOG, 1996 colors. The real metal was delivered to Air 2000 on March 1989. Like its sistership, she was leased to Canada 3000 Airlines (Dec - Apr every year between 1992 and 1998, registered C-FOOG) and to Spanair (Dec 99-
Apr 00). Transfered to First Choice Airways on January 2004, leased to Skyservice ( Feb - Mar 04, as C-GOOG). To Astraeus from March 2006, registered G-OJIB, then painted in "Iron Maiden World Tour 2008" special colours; then leased to many airlines: Ghana International Airlines (May - Ocy 2008), BMI British Midland (Nov 08 - Jan 09), Saudi Arabian (Oct 09 - Jan 10/Oct 10 - Jan 11) and easyJet (Jun - Sep 10). Purchased by FedEx on December 2011, converted to freighter on April 2013 and entered into service the following month, as N938FD, named "Isabella". Active.

The third is registered G-OOOS, 1996 colors. She was delivered new to Air Europe on April 1989, as G-BRJD, transfered to Air Europa on October 1989 and re-registered EC-349, then EC-ESC on January 1990. Back to Air Europe, again as G-BRJD, on October 1990. To Air 2000, as G-OOOS, on May 1991, to Greece Airways, re-registered SX-BLW, on April 2004. Leased to Air Scotland (Apr 04 - Jul 05). Finally, taken by Jet2 on June 2006, reg G-LSAD, then painted in Jet2 Holidays colors on March 2012. Active.

Re: PT-TAA 1/400 scale Customs.

I notice too many 1:400 models lately Sergio... Worrying..

Nonetheless they look awesome! I've been going to Alicante since I was very young and I remember Air 2000 from landing at the old ALC airport, along with other gone and long-gone carriers.

Don't worry, guys! I'm just finishing a batch for a customer, still 7 missing. In the meantime I didn't stopped making 1/500 models, when I make other copies of the already published models I just don't publish them again. Soon a couple of Embraers should surface, just stay tunned.
