Here are my photos of a custom designed and painted 1:100 Boeing 707-320 that was recently done for me by Atlantic Models Atlantic-Models, Inc. - Home
in Miami and I have on my Stanstill Intercontinental Glass Display. It takes a shelf for itself! I had it specifically painted done with Split-Scheme liveries of two of my favorite airlines, Pan Am and TWA.
I had originally thought about doing this myself with 1:144 plastic model kits but as I’ve not made a kit airplane since the late 1970s, I didn’t think I would be pleased with the finished product, so I went ahead and had it professionally done in a larger scale.
I had the aircraft designed utilizing both of the Pratt & Whitney engine 707 set-ups. On the TWA side are the earlier JT3C Turbojets with Water Injection and on the Pan American side are the later JT3D Turbofans. You’ll notice that the plaque on the stand base has the years in which both airlines operated the 707.
Also took a few photos of the Pan Am side along with smaller 1:200 and 1:400 models of the 707 in my fleet.
Plan on ordering a few other split scheme 1:100 aircraft in the upcoming years when I have more space.
