Apologize but i don't agree my friends. For me this model ia fantastic for two reasons: the elegant livery and because it was (before UE sanctions because of Ryanair B737W almost-hijacking) a common view at Rome FCO airport. Belavia used to fly the Tu-154 (amazing view) and then the B737-300, B737-500 and now the B737-800WL.

That is not the point, Ale.

This is a new plane and that is exactly what I said. AGAIN a current plane, the past releases were also current or new planes.

That is all I said. Whether you or I like it or not, was not my point. I just claimed that the mix of classics and new types is lacking a bit currently with Club Models.

I might not be a club member, so my opinion might not matter as much, but I do buy the occasional club model. And as far as I'm concerned, more classics are always welcome, both regular releases and club models. Especially as club models are usually more detailed.

Your opinion matters as much as anyone elses....you reflect a part of the collectors community and you buy club models, whether via HErpa or other sources.

And I agree, classics are always welcome. In my opinion, classic models should represent 50% of the HWC models.

Just consider how many classic beauties could be made, taken that forms are still available and not done yet. Herpa has fantastic moulds of Boeing 727, 737-200 or DC9/MD80s. Also the DC10 is nice, apart from the higher gears.

The potential of these planes alone is countless...

Maybe Herpa should create a Classic brand or division where to concentrate the production of old airplanes, not only DC-9 or DC-10 but also the beautiful moulds as DC-4, DC-6, DC-8, B707, Viscount, Constellation etc.

I was thinking the same thing, they've already had that in the past, there's no real need to come up with a completely new brand.

It could be a solution.
Herpa Constellation/Super Constellation mould, for example, is one of the most beautiful even compared to 1:400 mould!
