Re: A thread for samples owners.

They're going to use the Witty mould? That's a shame, the new Herpa mould is very nice... could have improvements on the wingtip fences and nose gear, but overall it looks very nice...

Re: A thread for samples owners.

Another one:
Luxair L-1649A Starliner Sample
The Luxair titles are printed in blue/turquoise instead of black and the nose gear is inverted. Furthermore, compared to the regular production model, the cheatline and the flag have a different shade of blue/turquoise (more accurate in my opinion).
I actually like those turquoise titles though it's incorrect

Still searching for the Luxair B747SP sample though

Re: A thread for samples owners.

Hello friends,

I would like to share my Lufthasa A340-311 D-AIGC "Wilhelmshaven" sample with you.

It is very special since it does not have the "15 years" sticker like the series production model. In addition it is the previous mould which has been used to produce it instead of the latest mould.
I hope you enjoy it.

Re: A thread for samples owners.

Not sure if posted here before, but this thread contains a Herpa 1:500 Luxair Boeing 747SP sample model.

A really nice looking bird.
If I remember correctely, the possible release of this model was cited by Mr. Stephan Kuelgen.

Such a stunning aircraft and livery. Suits the SP so well!
I may be the only one but I've been asking Herpa for years to make this model.

So bad Herpa only made a handful samples
