Re: kev747's collection

Some great ones there, Kev. The Delta Connection and the American are on my radar now...the CRJ must be very tiny, I suppose!!! I need to add them to my North American fleet, my friend!

Another good batch of arrivals there, your total for 2019 must be rather impressive!

The SAT IL-62 and Air Albania A319 are indeed exotic, I do like their liveries. I am not sure if Herpa will re-release the American 737-800 however I think they will release the 737 MAX instead.

I hope you are able to get the AeroMexico Connect E-190 and the Delta Connection CRJ-900, I am looking for the Delta MD-88 but it is very hard to find. Both American 737's must look good next to each other.

Yes, the CRJ is quite small, the British Airways (Sun-Air) Dornier Do 328 Jet is also tiny, it looks small next to the CRJ. Hope you are able to add the Delta Connection CRJ and the American 737 to your North American fleet.

Thanks Thom, I haven't counted but the arrivals for 2019 must indeed be adding up.

Re: kev747's collection

interesting classics, Kev. I can't seem to find either of the two models (i.e. AA B738 and Delta Connection CRJ-900). However, I have added the American Eagle CRJ-900 and will also add Air Canada Express CRJ-900 very soon...and maybe, the AA A321, DL B753WL and DL B738 as well!!! that Air Jamaica A340 is so colourful, my friend!!!

Yes, the AA 738 and Delta Connection CRJ-900 are quite hard to find. I am also looking for the American Eagle Embraer E175 and the Delta MD-88 but they are difficult to find. I see your North American fleet is growing too. The Air Jamaica is indeed colourful, I still need to add the 738 in new colours to my collection.

Re: kev747's collection

Great models!
How I wish Herpa did the AF Cargo B744F F-GIUD without the open side cargo door!!!
The movable nose is fantastic, but the cargo door stuck in the position backs me off from buying this model!

One can say "but hey, the F-GIUA version is the regular version with closed doors!". Yes it is! However, there were certain mold improvements from the GIUA model to the GIUD.
GIUD would be fantastic for me with the movable nose door only. A perfect donor for many customs.

Kev, another stunning set of arrivals...That Air Canada Express CRJ-900 is on its way to Mumbai and will arrive soon. My fav from this set are the two Delta ones especially the A350, which is slowly becoming my favourite twin jet aircraft with B77W and B737-800 being the other 2 in the top 3!

Thanks Leo! Yes, with the cargo door stuck open the plane has to stay static on a diorama. I think there is also another movable nose version, GIUE (first version I think), it is white inside the cargo door area whereas GIUD is grey inside. GIUD is indeed perfect for customs.

Thanks Thom! Far from winning the lottery!

I have been saving up a bit lately and also I have started selling unwanted models in my collection (sold about 30 so far) so I have been able to buy new models, also managed to find some at a good price.

Some more great additions to your collection Kev - yet again I see a few here that I wish were in my own collection! The Delta A330NEO and A350 make a great pair. How many models do you have in total?

- Cal.

Thanks Cal, I agree about the Delta aircraft, I think most planes look good in the Delta livery. I am not sure how many models I have in total as I stopped counting a long time ago! I know there are a lot, I will have to find a moment to count them all.
