Great adds.
Especially the Aer Lingus A333.
That one sticks out because I will flying that in Jan, from Dublin to Chicago.

Re: kev747's collection

Lovely birds! Aero500 DC-10 rules. The best DC-10 mould in scale 1:500. Beats IF500 by a mile.

Love the BP and Azur Air 767s. Just got my Blue Panorama and hope to get the Azur too

Re: kev747's collection

Thanks for sharing your beautiful new additions Kevin! The Aero500 DC-10s are among the best, while the new Herpa releases generally look good! It's pleasing to see the Aer Lingus livery in 1:500.

Re: kev747's collection

Great additions Kev, a batch of wonderful models. Which do you like more?

The sad thing is that Herpa produces widebodies for the 70% (maybe more) of the models, while there are too many narrwobodies to produce yet.
Anyway so many beautiful airplanes in your collection and well realized photos.
Positive rep. added.

Re: kev747's collection

A nice variety of new additions you have there Kev! My favourite from your recent batches would have to be the Aer Lingus A330 though as these are quite rare in 1:400 - I'd love to have one in my collection..!

Thanks, that should be a nice trip, I have never flown an A330 yet. It is a shame that Aer Lingus has changed livery it doesn't stand out anymore.

Thanks Leo, I agree the Aero500 DC-10 is the best mould. The 767's are indeed great.

Thanks Homzie, I don't usually collect older planes but I find the Aero500 models great. I will be getting more A350's as I do love that plane, the next one I am expecting is the Cathay Pacific A350-1000.

Thanks Thom, I agree about the Aero500 DC-10's. It is a shame that Aer Lingus has changed their beautiful livery, airlines don't seem to be original with their new liveries anymore.

Thanks Alessandro, your comments are much appreciated. I agree so many narrowbodies to be produced yet.

Thanks Cal, the Aer Lingus seems to be very successful. Hope you find one for your collection.

It was. I don't get as many chances to fly in the A330 now, any opportunity I get is greatly appreciated.
However, jumping straight from a B772 to the A333, it is distinctively narrower and less roomy.
Agreed on the new livery. Everyone is doing the straight cut from the vertical stabilizer down to the bottom of the fuselage now.

Re: kev747's collection

The 2-4-2 seating on the A330 is most certainly a personal favourite of mine, it's very spacious if you're in the 2 sitter. I agree with your statements regarding Aer Lingus, though I do like their new font of writing

Nice batch of purple 'n red models this time Kevin, your choices in models would reflect mine if I were to expand from my current AMS-only models

Yes, a very colourful batch indeed, have you added any new models for your AMS diorama?

This is proof that A350 is a very elegant aircraft, my friend...from the Herpa releases, just the Etihad for me, and maybe, the Air Tahiti Nui too, Kev!
