Dont worry you start at 25 models but when you less notice you will have 300+ models, trying to make your own custom airplanes and trying to think where and how you are going to place them or if you need to move to a new house to have more space for them (Speaking from my own experience ). But you have something of an advantage, you have space for an Airport Diorama and it seem that you are well on your way to have it completed .

As someone also new to the forum I love this pictures and comments on everyone’s collection. Love to see everyone airplanes fleet, in some cases the reason of why they added or even the cretiques of the models; it also help to consider or not trying to find a specific model if you can see other collectors pictures, or even realise that the model exist. So from my point of view keep the photos coming!

I might follow your example and do the same at some moment

Re: Luke’s collection

As promised, I also took pictures of my widybodie aircrafts. But now I used my camera and not my phone to take the pictures. So hope the quality is better. I will see if I can take new photos of my narrowbody's.

At the momement i have 12 widebody aircraft in my fleet and i hope to add one soon

Westjet B787-9.
I really love the Westjet Livery on the 787, and herpa did a very good job with the model!
Luke’s collection-dsc_0004.jpg

KLM B777-300ER.
Since i life in the Netherlands i see the KLM b777-300ER a lot. The colerscheme suits the aircraft well. I spotted this model in real life several times
Luke’s collection-dsc_0005.jpg

Boeing 777-9X.
This was the first model in my collection. And this is still one of the best molds that herpa has made. The nose and the engines are perfect, especially because you can actually see through the engines.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0007.jpg

Airbus a330-800neo.
To go on with airplane prototypes i want to introduce the a330-800. A beautiful Plane. Pity to see that sales are not going smoothly in real life. This was the second model in my collection.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0009.jpg

Brussels Airlines A330-200.
Brussels Airlines was the first airline i flew long haul on, I flew on an a330-300 with registration OO-SFM. Sadly herpa didn't produce this airframe, but this model comes close enough. This airframe is now at Twente Airport (Netherlands) where it is being scrapped. The airport is close to my house so i can see it whenever i want in real life . I bought this model before it came here to Twente Airport, so you can imagine how happy i was when it was announced that it was coming here!!
Luke’s collection-dsc_0012.jpg

Air Namibia A330-200.
I never saw an a330 of Air Namibia in real life . but i really like this model. The mold is perfect and i love the extra details on the engines. I like to collect small airlines from special places, it really makes a collection unique! The livery it self is not really special and mostly white, but the very good mold and small details make totaly up for it
Luke’s collection-dsc_0013.jpg

British Airways B747-400 Landor livery.
My first 747 and in a fantastic color scheme
Luke’s collection-dsc_0008.jpg

Lufthansa B747-400.
At Twente Airport, nearby my house, Lufthansa has send a total of 6 747 for storage. Now only 2 are left. And that is one of the reasons why i had to get this model
Luke’s collection-dsc_0010.jpg

KLM b747-400M.
Really like that herpa made the Combi 747 of KLM. Love the extra detail of the big cargo door in the rear. As someone coming from the Netherlands i still can not believe there are no passenger 747 in the KLM fleet
Luke’s collection-dsc_0011.jpg

TUI B767-300ER.
TUI has a wonderfull livery, and suits the 767 very well.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0014.jpg

Icelandair B767-300ER.
Also a unique airline from a special places! I always have been a huge fan of Icelandair, but i actually don't know why . hope that herpa will produce a MAX of Icelandair.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0015.jpg

Emirates A380.
i really wanted to have an a380 in my collection, and when you think of an a380, you immediately think of emirates. A great model. BTW I'm looking for a Britsh Airways a380 of herpa, since i have flow on one, so message me if you have one for sale or know anyone who has one for sale
Luke’s collection-dsc_0018.jpg

So this is my widebody fleet for now, hope you enjoyed it!!
(i made the diorama and hangar all by my self, got inspiration from different Instragram accounts).

Re: Luke’s collection

Now i want to share my narrowbody aircraft collection, but now with better photo's and more information about each model

I collect narrowbody aircraft from North America and Europa mostly and now have 12 aircrafts. I will start with my North American aircraft and then my European

United B737max9.
I want to start with the first narrowbody aircraft that i got in my collection, the United MAX. Really love the old and special dreamliner livery on the MAX 9. I also like the shape of the cockpit, big improvement from the 737-900 mould.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0020.jpg

Jetblue A321neo.
Really like the tail design on this aircraft and the new door configuration for the a321neo in comparison with the a321ceo.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0023.jpg

Air Canada A220-300.
The Air Canada livery suits the a220 very well! When i saw it in the store i just had to get it right away . One of my favorite aircraft in my collection.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0028.jpg

(as i said before i expect to add another american narrowbody to my collection in the coming days)

Vueling A321-200.
don't remember exactly why I bought this one, but I'm glad I got it
Luke’s collection-dsc_0019.jpg

Aer Lingus a321neoLR
The new B757 i guess Really like the Aer Lingus livery. And the little Wifi dome on the fusulage is a nice detail
Luke’s collection-dsc_0024.jpg

Aer Lingus a320-200
this is a really cute model, with a nice color scheme. Like the old winglets on the a320, Herpa made it very well.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0025.jpg

Condor A320-200
I think the new Condor logo is so much better then the old one. And the colours they use in there livery is so mucht different than most other livery's. Herpa did a really stunning job with the wings Hope the airline will survive.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0026.jpg

Transavia B737-800
I have flown i think more than 8 times with Transavia. One time even from Amsterdam to Dubai, 7 hours on a b737 . But it was a comfortable flight with a nice crew. Like the livery of Transavia, and that herpa added extra details on the wings. wish they did that on every 737.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0022.jpg

SAS B737-800
Really like the SAS livery with those red/orange engines. Sad to see that another European airline is getting rid of there 737, Almost only a320 family in Europe
Luke’s collection-dsc_0021.jpg

Swiss a220-100
Really like small regional jets, so i couldn't resist this one. Also a lot of small printed details on this model, good job herpa
Luke’s collection-dsc_0027.jpg

Austrian Airlines E195
Another really lovely regional jet! I have flown an Embrear once on KLM and it is a really comfortable plane. Like the mould of herpa on the Embrear series, especially the thin landing gear.
Luke’s collection-dsc_0029.jpg

Cabo Verde b757-200
I think this is the most ugly mould i have in my collection, especially from some point of view. But if you look at it from above or from a greater distance it looks like a b757-200. I got this one because i wanted a 757 and i like the livery. My plan was to by all 3 Cabo Verde 757 from herpa, but because I am not very satisfied with the mold I decided to only go for this one. And weird that herpa has printed evacuation markings on the wings while there are no emergency exits above the wings. But it's a extra detail that makes the model less boring
Luke’s collection-dsc_0030.jpg

so this was my collection for now, hope you enjoyed. I do get some new models the next few days so keep an eye on this thread

Very diverse collection Luke with a lot of colorful models! Your North American narrowbodies remind me of being in one of my favorite countries to visit: the USA!

Of course the KLM 747 has a special place in my heart
