Just found on eBay this BA A380 on sale for 89€ from France

https://www.ebay.es/itm/194064754098...8AAOSwmjRghWAV

It is a little pricey IMO, but it the only one I have found so far and he takes offers so you might lower the price a little bit.

I think that €90 is to much for this model haha, but thanks for sharing with me, hope he will sell it for a lower price

Re: Luke’s collection

My new models have arrived! I am very happy and they are all beautiful

To begin, i want to start with the Alitalia a321-100. An amazing model. Normally i wouldn't buy a plane from Alitalia, since I don't like the fact that the airline is already 3 years bankrupt but still flies with government money. But I couldn't resist this model! The livery is beautiful and suits the A321 well. I also like that it has the old wingtip fence and the logo on the wings.

Allegiant a320-200
I wanted to expand my North America narrow-body fleet, but I just didn't know with which model. Until I saw this one in the store. The nose of the aircraft is perfect, one of the best a320 cockpits that herpa has made. I also think the livery is very beautiful. And the fact that this is the first a320 built in America for Allegiant.

I am now thinking about adding the MD-83 from Allegiant to my collection. Would you recommend it?

Emirates B777-300ER
The emirates B777-300ER is a nice model, and fits well with the a380 from Emirates i already have. Can't tell you much more about it myself, just think it's a nice aircraft model

Re: Luke’s collection

After a long time I got some new models, and i really want it to share it with you!

Allegiant MD-82
I got this one because i think it is one of the best moulds Herpa has ever made! And the first aircraft in my colletion with the engines on the back. I wish herpa always released models with this amount of details!!!!

I also find it interesting to see that a low cost carrier like Allegiant was operating such old planes until 2018(?).

Aeroflot B777-300ER
A brand new release from Herpa, the tripple from Aeroflot. When it was announced I didn't want to get it, because of the not so beatiful cockpit in my oppinion, but since herpa has improved it a lot in comparison with earlier released b777 from Aeroflot, i really want to get this one for my collection.

but i'm not really impressed with the amount of extra details on this one. Just a few dots here and there and a warning stripe on the engines. What do you think about the 'extra' details?

Re: Luke’s collection

Loads of new and cool additions to your fleet since my last visit to the thread, Luke. Allegiants MD-80s are iconic to me, saw a lot of them in Vegas in 2016 and then never again when I first returned in 2019 and 2020.

Re: Luke’s collection

Beautiful additions. If I had to choose, I would pick the Allegiant MD-82.

The "extra" details is okay...but in my mind nothing special at all.

Good work, interesting models.
The background gets more interesting
I will surely follow your thread.
But your photos need a bright lighting to make your pictures more attractive

There is no secret knowledge here.
Take out your diorama outside and try natural, sunny light,
If you prefer taking photos inside, simply use more lamps. Ordinary light bulbs glow more natural light so they are better than cold-white light from fluorescent tubes.

P.S . Keep in mind that the weather condiditions also affect the outdoor photography.
