An Unusual Sight

I like airlines from the Middle East. Here is a sight I'm not sure exists anywhere in the world? Perhaps some of the pros here know better. Maybe Frankfurt? Zurich? In either case, seeing these two beauties side by side would be a rare sight. But not at my airport

Re: An Unusual Sight

Used to be normal in Heathrow, when they all flew there. You even had during the war IR and IA in same terminal if I recall well. Also Kuwait Airways. The old IA livery was so much nice than this one...but still nice shot and models.

Re: An Unusual Sight

One thing is sure, the first and the third pics are wonderful! Beautiful sunlight and almost perfectly focused.
Well done.

Re: An Unusual Sight

Two lovely birds of Middle East airlines! Really like the Iraqi.
I believe both could be seen together at Frankfurt or maybe another airport in the Middle East, I guess?

Indeed it was, their previous scheme was fantastic! However, this current one is not bad either, despite being very inferior to the old one. At least they kept the green and didn't go full eurowhite like China Eastern.

Great photos of the Iran Air in combination with the Iraqi 77L!
