Explorative thread: easyjet and Wizz Air A320.

Hi.
This is an explorative thread, hoping it will become reality.
easyjet and Wizz Air, two of the most important low costs of the world (flying in Europe) and the A320.
What do you think? Would they sell well?
Thanks for sharing your opinion of just participating.

Re: Explorative thread: easyjet and Wizz Air A320.

Of course, i would buy at least three easyJet A320's and two/three Wizz Air A320's, especially if the mould is, for example, similar to Sky500 one!

I've been wanting easyjet aircraft for years, I'd want at least a couple of each aircraft type.

Re: Explorative thread: easyjet and Wizz Air A320.

There is an actual and important demand for those models and everyone knows that. You; but also many others; asked numerous times to see these produced and as we know this is not possible because of license issues.

Trust me, Herpa know that those would sell like hot cakes and I'm sure Herpa tried countless times to get the WIZZ or Easyjet license.

I don't see the point of creating another "explorative thread", especially since you already know the result...

This was already discussed a year ago:

Alberic, i am crazy but not stupid! If i created this thread there is a reason, something i still can't publicly say but there is a reason. And i hope this "reason" will fastly become public and real.

Re: Explorative thread: easyjet and Wizz Air A320.

I'd buy at least 3 of each airline, aswell as the Ryanair 737. With my collection being dominated by European airlines, these three airlines and their respective aircraft are an absolute must for me. So yes, they would sell like hotcakes as Wingslover stated, and I would be more than willing to buy them.

Re: Explorative thread: easyjet and Wizz Air A320.

You know they'll sell like hotcakes.

Get an easyJet A319, A320, A320sl, A320neo and A321neo out there and I'll buy all of 'em.

Wizz A320s or A321(neo)s will also sell extremely well.

But.. There is no license, so Herpa will not produce them.

Re: Explorative thread: easyjet and Wizz Air A320.

Just look at the prices of (recent) ebay auctions for the Wizz A320. Should be answer enough...

Isn't that mould the one with the clunky nose gear?

If yes, that is deterring for me.

Re: Explorative thread: easyjet and Wizz Air A320.

Absolutely yes. I would buy anything and everything from Easyjet and Wizzair. At least a couple of each model and preferably current and standard livery.
Hope springs eternal...

Re: Explorative thread: easyjet and Wizz Air A320.

I suppose they would be best sellers yes as they are missing our 1/500 world. I would go for a few despite I did mine with 3D print (easyJet)

If i must decide among these two

and an easyJet model made using this

i prefer Sky500 mould, even if the landing gear is 1:400 scale. I prefer the nose section and the mould, while the nose landing gear of the previous Herpa A320 mould was too thin. Herpa current A320 mould is beautiful and can compete with Sky500 one.
