777-200ER's Collection
With my collection having grown rapidly over the past few months having got back into the hobby, I thought it might be a nice time to start a thread with all of my current collection which I can add to when I acquire new additions. My collection consists mainly of European carriers and a smattering of American and Asian airliners.
Today I want to show my growing Austrian Airlines Fleet:
Starting with my first 1/500 scale Airliner, 777-200ER OE-LPB 'Heart of Europe'
777-200ER OE-LPA 'Sound Of Music'
767-300ER OE-LAZ 'India'
A320-200 OE-LBU 'Mühlviertel' in 'Unofficial Fan Line 2008' livery
Fokker 100 OE-LVG 'Krakow' in 'Die Kronen Zeitung' special livery
I have a real soft spot for this Austrian livery, much more so then their newer blander euro white iteration.

Re: 777-200ER's Collection
Great start to your collection thread. I have to agree on the livery, the older Austrian livery was much more colourful and vibrant than their current. The Fokker looks the best, the blue engines contrast nicely with the red tail and the addition of the red wingtips is amazing!
You made me walk to my Austrian 777, as I didn't recall having either LPA or LPB. I was correct, it's LPD.

Thank you for your kind words!
I agree, the Fokker is one of my favourites, I don't think the mould is too bad either. Would love to get one in the standard Austrian Livery!

Re: 777-200ER's Collection
Next up is Lufthansa, I am not the biggest fan of this ubiquitous livery but I'm a really big fan of the A340 so it's a must really.
I would like to get my hands on the new livery as I think it looks pretty classy.
747-400 D-ABTL 'Dresden'
A340-300 D-AIGP 'Paderborn'
A340-300 OG Model, no reg
A330-300 D-AIKD 'Siegen'
Cargo MD-11F D-ALCA
A321-100 OG Model, no reg
A319-100 OG Model, no reg
CRJ900 D-ACKG 'Glucksburg'

Re: 777-200ER's Collection
IAG Airliners;
British Airways 777-200ER G-YMMG
British Airways A320neo (with those stupid engines) G-TTNA
Aer Lingus A320-200 EI-DVL 'St Moling'
Can't get away from the fact that those engines completely ruin the look of the Herpa A320neo mould. Such a shame.

Great Austrian Airlines, beautiful airline and beautiful fleet.
Too shameful Herpa did not produce the B737-600, B737-700, B737-800 and A319.

Great photos once more, the Aer Lingus A320 looks so clean compared to the clunky looking A320neo!

We have an Austrian F100 here in Adelaide, I think the local operator (Alliance) bought the whole fleet from OS 26(?) F100's and F70's. There is one sitting on the maintenance apron with the basic OS livery (blue)
Edit: Broken up a little over a month ago

Re: 777-200ER's Collection
Thanks guys!
I did hear some of Austrian F100's ended up over in Aussie. A sad demise so far from home!
Today, it's European Narrowbodies:
LOT Polish Airlines 737-300 SP-LMC
Finnair A321-200 OH-LZA
HOP! Air France ERJ145 F-GRGL
Interflug DHC-100 OE-LLI
Scandinavian A321-200
Aeroflot Don TU-154 RA-85626
KLM 737-900ER PH-BXS 'Buizerd'
Icelandair 757-200 TF-FIU 'Hekla Aurora'
The LOT 737 and beautiful Icelandair 757 are favourites.
I was lucky enough to fly TF-FIU from Glasgow to Keflavik in 2018!

Re: 777-200ER's Collection
The Delta A350 is my favourite from the bunch, the sleek winglets and shapes of the A350 combined with a beautiful livery! It's also a very comfortable way to fly from Amsterdam to Detroit!
