Herpa September/October 2020 news predictions.

Hi.

At the end of May first days of June Herpa should announce the news for September/October 2020.
Maybe this batch of news will still be conditioned by Covid-19 pandemic, but which are your predictions?

Re: Herpa September/October 2020 news predictions.

Well, let me think.
It is still Covid-19 time, especially in China there will be (i hope for us all and the real life!) attention to everything, so the models production will continue slowly.
For this reason i imagine few models even this time.
Sundair A320:has low probabilities to be produced: it is not true that Herpa produces all German airlines, some important leisure airlines have never been produced. Aero Flight and Blue Wings for example, but also Bremenfly and Avanti Air.
DAT-Danish Air Transport: maybe. If DAT has reached an agreement with Herpa, the MD-80 and/or the A320 could be produced.
Volotea B717: this airline could be at the first place if Herpa decided/will decided to restart the B717 production. But Herpa and, maybe, the majority of collectors don't think like me and Volotea B717 could be a bad-seller model/airline, so something not to be produced. In my opinion the B717 is one of the most beautiful airplanes ever and Herpa produced a great mould, one of its most perfect.
Blue Panorama and/or Neos B737-800WL: maybe, more an dream than a prediction and, among the two airlines, i imagine Herpa could produce a Neos B737-800WL.
Lufthansa A319 new livery
Emirates something among the B777-300ER and the A380
United Airlines B787-8 or B787-9 new livery
Philippine Airlines DC-10: if Herpa will continue to produce DC-10's this could be a good surprise
Qantas: after the B767-200 another model of the past? Redundancy, this could be the main word for Herpa. Few models but something more from the past.
Wamos Air B747-400: the last B747-400 to produce!

Re: Herpa September/October 2020 news predictions.

I don't think we will see Volotea despite I would like.
I have discussed with Herpa few months ago and they told it was not on their plans.

Re: Herpa September/October 2020 news predictions.

Ale, is Herpa done every Lufthansa in new livery and every Emirates A380 or B777 in special colours? If not then I predict another boring set of releases. I'm hoping for more Etihad and Qatar beauties such as A350-1000 (Qatar - oneworld) or ETIHAD A350-1000!

Yes Homzie.
I imagine that, especially because of Covid-19 pandemic, Herpa is trying to be even more confident of selling "workhorses", well-selling models, so we could se Lufthansa, Emirates, perhaps Qantas and British Airways.

Re: Herpa September/October 2020 news predictions.

Once again my prediction:

Air Malta A320 9H-NEO

Reason(s): This is a narrow body from Europe and Herpa already produced Air Malta and hence, could have the necessary licence rights. Furthermore, Herpa might want to make use of the NEO-mould. Finally it's a special livery which has been repainted in the meantime.

Charter, honestly!? "Bremenfly" and "important" do not fit well into one sentence. Let's face it: It was a smallish and a rather crappy airline with a dodgy business model.

For Charter, any airline which has operated at least one aircraft is important.

..."any charter airline"...!
You are totally right! For me a charter/leisure airline flying with just one airplane, especially if B737-300 or B737-400 or B737-500, is even more important.
