Cabo Verde Airlines B757W

Hi.
A thread to understand how many collectors are interested in the production of a TACV-Cabo Verde Airlines B757-200WL new livery.
Cabo Verde Airlines is living a new life after some difficult moments while it was close to fail, thanks to Icelandair Group that bought it.
Three B757-200WL are flying with the airline towards many destinations in Europe, Africa, Brazil, USA.
Before to start to ask Herpa i would like to know how many collectors are interested in having this beautiful B757W in 1:500 scale.
Thanks for sharing your opinion.

Re: Cabo Verde Airlines B757W

Will be a good release, but not for my collection.
By the way: all the planes have different tail colors, similar to Arkia. Herpa would have to release all of them to be consistent.

In my opinion, there are more overdue 757s, like Delta.

Re: Cabo Verde Airlines B757W

Herpa realized a beautiful TACV B757-200 old livery and old generation, but i think they could reflect on the production of these three B757-200WL.
The owner is Cabo Verde Government but Icelandair Group has 51% stake in the airline and Icelandair seems to be a good dealer for Herpa.

I am asking for TACV B757W not only for a "selfish reason" but especially because i think the B757W is one of the most beautiful and elegant airplanes of the sky and even when it will disappear from it (soon, unfortunately) it will remain wonderful.
So i would like all the possible B757W in activity in 1:500 scale.
TACV-Cabo Verde Airlines is a growing airline and uses the B757W, so why not?
According to Planespotters TACV is using three B757W's:
D4-CCF
D4-CCG
D4-CCH

Agreed. I'd rather an Icelandair re-release (as they are now run by the same group).

Re: Cabo Verde Airlines B757W

I would love to see Herpa releasing those models, in addition to their previous old livery which in my opinion was better from the current one.

Herpa released an OG model for them which was almost completely white, so we need an updated new one.

It would be an exotic release from Herpa, most probably as a club model.

From rumors there could be "good chances" to have them in 1:500...

Not something for me, but it will be a nice release anyway. Just like the Azores A330, A321s and A320 were good releases. But not something for my collection.

...but something different from the usual, boring Emirates models?!
I agree with you considering each new airline something that changes the usual regular sale and offer.

Yes exactly! I'm so bored with all these EK A380/77W releases... when will it ever end?!
I highly welcome new airlines to this scale. It makes the hobby more alive.

In fact this is also my thought.
We need more exotic and niche airlines, from all over the world, and each of them is more than welcome.
I hope Herpa is starting to understand this, a "Polar Star" for revitalize the hobby, of course along with the production of the "most wanted"/"most requested" airlines and airplanes.

Exactely my thoughts too. Would be nice to see these 757s released, although they would not go to my collection.
