These were my thoughts aswell. However, I remember reading someone's post talking about earlier release dates due to the Toy Fair...

While this is true, it doesn’t really matter as it is increasingly difficult to make any predictions. With declining release numbers in 1:500-scale herpas mould and airline range has likewise narrowed. Many 1:500-scale HERPA WINGS »series« are drying out, some even comparatively new 1:500-scale moulds seem to be »not available«.

With every upcoming release the number of my anxious questions grows:
Are there any serious efforts to increase the general attractiveness of 1:500-scale or is just another »keep the target groups interested«-batch?
Will I still experience any substantial reduction of the biggest airline brand gaps in 1:500-scale? [Above all easyJet, Wizz Air, Ryanair, Southwest, Korean Air, ANA, JAL]
Will there be any new moulds? [Above all the Embraer E2 family]
Will there be a further Latin American-»series« release? [Since 2018 only 1 release]
What about the excellent new B767-200 mould? [Since its introduction 2017 only two releases]
Is there any chance for another Embraer 175 or 190? [No releases since 5 years!]
After more than 2 years of cobbling very old moulds (Fokker F100, Airbus A318) is there any ambition to improve newer moulds? [A320 neo family engines/engine pylons, A350 main gears, B777 engines]

Having said that the most logic (? the phrase I dare to emphasize is what I fail to realize) releases for 03/04 2020 would be:

A380 Emirates »Orange«
A350-900 SAS [with enlarged main gear tires to cover up the main gear issue]
A340-600 Lufthansa [new colours]
B787-10 KLM »100th anniversary«
B787-9 Turkish Airlines
B787-9 Boeing »Dreams Take Flight«
787-8 Qatar [rerelease with revised colours]
A321 neo Vietnam Airlines
A320 neo TAP
A320 Air Canada [new colours]
A220-300 Delta Air Lines
Fokker F100 Avanti Air [German Charter Airline]
ATR72-500 Air Europa Express
VC-9C (DC-9-32) United States Air Force
