Model airport car park

Hi all

I'm trying to find a car park for my model airport which is 1:400 scale but am not having any luck - does anybody know if there is any available in this scale? If not would a 1:500 scale be suitable and if so where would you advise to look for a car park.
all help very much appreciated

Re: Model airport car park

A 1:500 garage might look a little small in the 1:400 display; however, you might consider gluing 1:400 cars on the top level parking deck to help scale the structure -?
All that said, parking structures are fairly easy custom builds, with several layers of Plastruct styrene stacked with balsa or Lego spacers, top surfaces painted grey, and then parking spaces marked lightly with a pen. Cars in the chosen scale are then glued to the deck at the end.

Best wishes,
Pete

Re: Model airport car park

There are car parks in 1:500 available from old sets....just look on ebay. Maybe you are lucky.
But I think Gemini has also one in 1:400, but not sure.
