Herpa's new ETOPS330 Capable AS 737NG

Wanna fly AS from SEA all the way to Moscow? Well, say no more - Alaskan just ordered their first ETOPS330 capable 737NG Biplane - The FAA should rubber-stamp this one since it's based on an existing model. What's the worst thing that can happen?

Just kidding. Just pulled my JAL F-Toys 737-800 apart. it'll be going into the rework pile.

It'll get the old strip-sand-and-repaint treatment like the 767. Here's JA616J after a few rounds with the Tamiya putty and some 600 grit sandpaper. It's awaiting delivery of the Tamiya white primer spray paint.

Hopefully, good things will happen. If not, I got some more planes on the way.

Hoping for a Southwest Airlines or Eastern Air Lines (the Vincent Viola re-launch that didn't go anywhere) 737NG, but given the sad state of the CFM56-7 engine barrels (getting them cleanly off the pylon was nearly impossible, getting them back on is gnarly), engine barrel re-paint is not likely. It'll most likely be an Air Niugini -800 scheme (Eurowhite + decal). The 767 is (probably) getting Westjet or Air Canada Rouge livery.
