Re: MMP-Ace Pix

Both models look great! I love the Qatar A350 with the wingbox prints, while the Kuwait 777 is also a colourful model!

Re: MMP-Ace Pix

Some news today for me and a little time for quick pix:

Somehow I like the Maritius nose more than the Thai one and can't really explain why.

I am VERY disappointed about the Emirates. The nose is much too pointy AND the cockpit windows are not straight but look upwards. I will definitely send this one back. What still is soo sooo strange to me: ACB's preview pics look okay and my last 777, the Ukraine, is not that pointy. It really looks like Herpa uses at least two moulds.

Re: MMP-Ace Pix

Herpa's NGII 777 mould is a mess now.

Noses are really pointy, cockpit windows are too big or even misplaced (just like yours).
GE90 seems to be too big, or at least to sit too low.
Main landing gears too long, makes the plane look like a Kangaroo ready to hop.
Nose gear too thin and often inclined forward (A320/MD-11 style).
And finally: GE90 only option!

NGI mould (see British Airways 777-200ER) was perfect. The only drawback were the wings, which weren't laterally inserted.

NGII at the beginning was also very nice (see TAM 777-300ER release), but nowadays is really bad.

I didn't buy it. It's an unimportant model for me...

Great Mauritius A350, interesting release without the 50 Years sticker.

Re: MMP-Ace Pix

Back when the 777 mould still looked like a darn 777. I miss these!

Very nice:

Re: MMP-Ace Pix

Great models! The Icelandair 757 duo is really wonderful. The Norwegian 737 looks very nice too, finally with the bright red

American DC-10 is not bad, but I really would prefer the Aeroclassics mould.

Re: MMP-Ace Pix

Nice models!!
I would get both Icelandair and Norwegian, too.
But, are the nose gears of two Icelandair 757 in the opposite direction?

The Hekla Aurora gear is backwards

Re: MMP-Ace Pix

Looks like they A. corrected the nose gear on the 757 and B. the colour on the 737. Great additions to anyone's fleet, and excellent photgraphy as well.

Thanx for the nice comments. I already knew about the Hekla front gear. Herpa needs some weeks to change it...
