I might be crazy, but the Air Canada "mask" make the 777 nose look less pointy.

The 757 main gears need to be longer than that. These models look like a car with a fat person on the rear seat

I'm trying to modify my American Airlines 757 model, but it's hard to remove the gears without breaking them. The glue is pretty strong, it seems.

I could swear it was 1:400, because of the details! Herpa really should print these details on all models, not only Club models.

Re: MMP-Ace Pix

Thanks for sharing these beautiful models. The 757 mould has grown a bit on me, still prefer the old gears though. Furthermore I agree with Leo's statements, the detail on club models should not be the exception but the standard across Herpa's range. The AN22 is awesome!

It should be the airline barcode and the explanation about how to book a Gulf Air ticket using the barcode.
What do you think about Icelandair B767-300WL? A masterpiece or just nice?

The Icelandair 767 is so beautiful :tt1: :tt1: :tt1:
The printing near the door of the Gulf Air 787 seem to be a QR Code.
At the Gulf Air titles, I think he grey part on the letters is too light. Real plane seem to have a darker grey.

The Icelandair 767 is a gorgeous model, I might have to add one myself after seeing these pictures.. Damn, you and your sharp pictures..

It's unusual how Herpa incorporates the 787 wingmarks on one model but not another. The Gulf 787 has a bit too much of an Etihad-cream colour while the 787-10 still has to grow on me size-wise. It might not help that I've never seen one in person, but that's to change in the summer.

I think the Gulf Air 787 depends on some decent light to be shown in, because in some photos it looks more like the Etihad sandy livery than in others.. Still, I do appreciate you taking the time to compare the models.

I agree with getifero on the Lufthansa A380, the Herpa model makes the livery look surprisingly decent. The Air Tahiti Nui 787-9 is my favourite, such a gorgeous livery. The chevrons still look good on the seven-eight.

I didn't plan to buy the -001 because I thought it's just a registration change. But then I realized that Herpa changed a lot at this model. The windows are different and the orange at the back is moving upwards. After searching pictures of the original planes I have to say: Good job, Herpa.

I wonder if Herpa will make the beautiful WDL-1B someday. While it would be wonderful to see a model of it, I think Herpa should have other priorities rather than spending money on developing a blimp model

Good thing Herpa's regular releases don't come with sweets, wouldn't be good for my weigth. Nonetheless your photography does justice to this model.

Nice model.
I think it would be nice if Herpa made more Airships/blimps/zeppelins, especially part of the 'Yesterday series' I used to see a lot of airships over London back in the 80's and 90's so would encourage more airship models as no manufacturer seems to bother with them.

The models do look significantly better with your photos instead of the ACB photos. The Air France HOP livery looks much better on the tail. United's new livery is also well replicated, but I still don't like it.

I received some new models today. I am very satisfied. Laker stands for its own (it's ICONIC!! :envy: ), the Royal Jordanian has some nice printings on the wings and under the belly, and Pegasus and Netherland Government are Herpa standard, but very nice. The Air Canada A333 has nice silver printings around the cockpit windows. Take a look:

Thanks for the great photos, I'm really looking at getting the Royal Jordanian A320 now! Also holy Laker Skytrains! Did you leave some for other collectors?

Charter 09-04-2020 08:34 AM

Yes, the Laker DC-10 for me Is well closed into ACB safe, waiting for the package full of news they will send me.

Thank you for the pictures. Yes, indeed - the Royal Jordanian looks promising. If the Pegasus was just a proper B738 and no A321neo with soil ploughing engines...

I received some new models today and I am VERY satisfied. The SAS is the most beautiful to me, but I loved the new design immediatly when it came out. The Etihad is a beauty too. They "surprised" us with some new red markings on the LH A346.

Really neat photos, the Lufhtansa A340-600 looks very neat but the timing of the release is unfortunate. The greenliner is a surprise, the model turned out very accurate but could've been slightly brighter.

Looks like Herpa learned from the Greenliner disaster and made the Manchester plane now with a metallic paint.

Thanks for sharing the pictures!

I received some of models today too and was puzzled to see the yellow-white wings of the German Air Force A350.
Your model has them too. I checked my other GAF models and they have all white wings.

Checking the pictures and videos in the net I canīt find anything that hints to a yellow-white for the wings. Any ideas?

I love the DC-10s

In my opinion all releases should come with the club-model details and especially Lufthansa, to compensate the lack of colors.

Customerindepend ex factory all A350 have white to creamy white coloured wings. To what extent the colour shade of herpa's German Airforce A350 is not the same of the original I can't tell, as I don't have the model. Generally herpa's A350 wings have a certain colour spread and by judging MMP-Ace's Pix the wings of the German Airforce A350 could be on the more creamy side.

I don't understand why they cant get the exits of the Aer Lingus A321LR right. Door 3 is deactivated and the doorframe is almost invisible in real life. On the Turkish A321neo they got it right. Well they didnt print the doorframe of Door 3 at all on the THY but this is way more realistic than printing it with a thick Line.

Thanks for sharing these new models, the MAN City 787 and Panda A350 are among my favorites from this batch!

I understand your frustration, but this could be easily removed with nail polish remover! Now of course you shouldn't have to do that in the first place!

Thats true but better not mess around with stuff like that. Whats more annoying is the size of the engines. But I will get this model anyway I think, its a nice one!

I like the different angles and perspectives that you use to photograph these beautiful airplane models; when I came across the Northwest Orient DC-10 I almost cried--such an amazing plane and great to have the other NW three-holer (727) waiting in the background. Makes for a nice tribute, and I immediately ordered one (from Hong Kong, no less--we are many MONTHS behind with our models in the US). Thanks for these superb pictures!

Thank you so much for your nice comment. Great that you spotted the little details in the unsharp background.

NORMALLY I would be able to show you 4 new models, but now it's only 1. Why? I REALLY was annoyed about 3 models:

1) China Eastern A350 = Cockpit windows are printed ridiculously high AGAIN. Looks very weird, especially compared with the LH A350 or SAS A350.

2) & 3) Cabo Verde 757 = I received two different noses (definitely from two different moulds) AND both didn't look like a B757 at all. On top I have to admit that I don't like the livery when I did a closer check-up. To me (!) it's ugly.

I was so annoyed about Herpa's quality issues that I sent these models back as fast as possible without taking pictures. Normally I have patience with Herpa but this time: Please without me. So the only model I can show you is the 737 MAX S7, which is quite good, although the winglets are quite rough.

Quality has been steadily worsening over the past few years thus I'm not surprised it has reached a 75% unsatisfied perentage for you. The S7 apart from the not-yet perfect B38M mould looks good though!
