Makes for a nice tribute, and I immediately ordered one (from Hong Kong, no less--we are many MONTHS behind with our models in the US). Thanks for these superb pictures!
Thank you so much for your nice comment. Great that you spotted the little details in the unsharp background.
NORMALLY I would be able to show you 4 new models, but now it's only 1. Why? I REALLY was annoyed about 3 models:
1) China Eastern A350 = Cockpit windows are printed ridiculously high AGAIN. Looks very weird, especially compared with the LH A350 or SAS A350.
2) & 3) Cabo Verde 757 = I received two different noses (definitely from two different moulds) AND both didn't look like a B757 at all. On top I have to admit that I don't like the livery when I did a closer check-up. To me (!) it's ugly.
I was so annoyed about Herpa's quality issues that I sent these models back as fast as possible without taking pictures. Normally I have patience with Herpa but this time: Please without me. So the only model I can show you is the 737 MAX S7, which is quite good, although the winglets are quite rough.
