Since I’ve already achieved my dream of having all BA B744s (in all scales) and have enough of Emirates A380s in my fleet, I’ve decided to focus on Canadian aircrafts i.e. WestJet and Air Canada which is constantly growing.

Hence, I’m now basing my Air Canada and international fleet at Toronto Pearson and WestJet fleet at Calgary international airport. I’ll be updating my airport thread too once I can find my two Air Canada A330-300s which is somewhere in one of the boxes. I’m looking forward to your updates too.

Daniel my friend, you should get the Oman Air B787-9 to compliment the B787-8. I prefer the -9 to the -8 (don’t know the reason but I do). Wonderful new updates from your end as well, Daniel.

My friends, it’s been a while sinçe I’ve had an Alessandro style Christmas Day of shopping...when I bought 4 wonder Canadian beauties, 3 in new livery and one in my favorite ice blue livery.

During my reçent trips to Canada in 2017 and 2018, i spotted many Canadian beauties and also flew in a few WestJet planes to and from Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, I started to really adore Canadian liveries. Therefore, I have decided to base my fleet a bit at Toronto Pearson International Airport (Air Canada and International Airlines, such as British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, Etihad, Emirates and many more airlines common to Mumbai and Toronto) and the rest of my Canadian fleet (WestJet) at Calgary International Airport).

There are 4 new arrivals which landed late last night which are...
B737-8 MAX (GJ) C-FTJV
B737-8 MAX (PHX) C-FSJH
B77L (PHX) C-FNND
B77W (PHX) C-FIVW (ice blue livery)

Note: I bought the B737-8 Max before the tragic Éthiopien Airlines crash (RIP) but I’ve decided not to use them (for any domestic routes within Canada) until Boeing decides to fly them again...

I wonder what will happen to your "Queens" fleet when British Airways will phase out all the airplanes....
The MAX 1:400 scale are really wonderful and well done, but your idea to ground them is nice and respectful of all the people killed in the two tragic accidents.

Well my friend, I was nervous to make the change but so far it has been great and I'm much happier with my collection now. I still have 8 Emirates models in my collection that I will not be selling and will still be following developments at the airline. I think you will be really impressed with my new Delta and American fleets!

It must be a nice feeling to have completed your BA fleet of B747-400's - will you add the retro liveries if they are released in 1:400 scale? Your decision to focus on Canadian airlines as a secondary fleet to BA and Emirates is a great idea! The models you shared all look wonderful - I've actually added some Air Canada and WestJet models to my collection as well for my new diorama.

I'll look forward to seeing more Canadian birds land in your collection!

- Cal.

Good question Ale. While they will be gone from the British Airways fleet, all 57 of them would be flying in my fleet. I won’t be retiring any of them as the purpose of collecting the entire fleet spanning 10 years which were filled with turbulence would be defeated. Hence, I’ll be keeping them in my fleet, my friend! Hope you’re not confused now, Ale!

Cal my friend, I’m already excited to see and enjoy your new American project. I’ll be concentrating on Canada (mainly Toronto and Calgary as my hubs for Air Canada and WestJet respectively) so, there may not be many international planes except a few customs from our friend in Sweden (Alexander). You’ll see the first Canadian update of my collection which are domestic and international flights (arrivals) operated by Air Canada (in this scale)! Looking forward to your updates too, my friend.

I’m waiting for them as well my friend, but they won’t land in my fleet as I already have all 57 registrations so, I won’t be repeating any registration! I’d love to see and admire them in your fleet!

Re: "Homzie's 1:400 and Beyond Speedbird Fleet and More...

My dearest friends, like I stated earlier, I’ll be concentrating on a much concise version of Toronto and Calgary airports due to lack of space and bank balance!

Air Canada is the home airline at its hub Toronto Pearson International Airport situated near highway 427 and 401 close to Mississauga, Ontario. In this update, I’ll be sharing my Air Canada arrivals from various parts of Canada and the world.

The flights are....
05:05 AC57 from Dubai B77L (C-FIUJ)
05:05 AC43 from Delhi B789 (C-FVLQ)
05:25 AC47 from Mumbai B77W (C-FITU)
07:25 AC481 from Montreal B73M (C-FSJH) did not operate as B73M grounded
12:35 AC879 from Zurich A333 (C-GFAJ)
12:35 AC873 from Frankfurt B77W (C-FIVW)
16:30 AC34 from Calgary B77L (C-FNND)
17:55 AC849 from London Heathrow B77W (C-FITW)
22:05 AC172 from Edmonton B73M (C-FTJV) did not operate as B73M grounded

Air Canada A330-300 C-GFAH and C-GHKW are also in my fleet but they’ve gone for maintenance (I mean I’m unable to find them in one of my boxes)!!!

Very nice Air Canada models my friend! I was always fond of the blue fuselage and red maple leaf tail design, however the new black and white Air Canada livery stands out so much more. Which livery is your favourite?

It’s so hard to pick my friend, I love the ice blue livery but the new one is starting to get to me. I’m confused, my friend. Both GJ and Phoenix have announced the WestJet B787-9 C-GUDH. Which one should I go for, Cal? Im off to Canada in August and September, so, I’ll get to spot more Canadian beauties (I’m not talking about thé scenery) I’m still waiting for your American updates, my friend! I know I have to be patient....

Well my friend have you made your decision on the WestJet B787-9? Personally, I'd go for the Gemini since it'll be licensed and should be more accurate. However, both will be great models I'm sure! Let us know which one you choose.

I'm still working on the new diorama my friend! But if you want a sneak peak of my new additions, checkout my collection on DiMA through the link in my signature!

Cal, my friend, I’ve finally made my decision after much deliberation and have decided to go for the Phoenix one (sorry) but will buy it after it’s release sometime next month...haven’t seen your updates in a while, is everything fine?

I haven’t made many purchases in the recent past but as soon as there’s a model which appeals to me and which fits my Canadian or other airport dioramas, I buy the model in either scale...I’m still awaiting Gulf Air B787-9 by JC Wings as I wanted a Gulf Air model and this was the only suitable one for my fleet!

Well, my friends, I’ve done what I wasn’t supposed to...I bought a model in this scale. I found this particular model after 4 years which had been eluding me due to inflated prices on eBay and non availability at retailers. However I finally managed to get her at a decent price, considering this livery no longer exists on this plane and the production of this aircraft will end in 2021.

Eagerly awaiting Gulf Air B787-9 JC Wings version (after much discussion in my head)! Coming soon...

The aircraft is A380 and the model is made by GeminiJets, the aircraft ID is A6-EEE with Mauritius titles. However, this particular aircraft will give to Düsseldorf as EK55 soon!

Emirates A380 A6-EEE prior to her departure to Düsseldorf as EK55.

I'm sure the Phoenix version of the WestJet B787-9 will be just as good! It seems JC Wings finally released the Gulf Air B787-9 then? I'm surprised at your decision to pick-up A6-EEE though, especially as it's a special livery..!

As for my updates - I'm still working on my new diorama at the moment. I'll hopefully have it finished in the next couple of months meaning I'll be able to begin sharing updates once more.

Cal, my friend, regarding the Emirates A380 A6-EEE, I wanted that one for a few years and I’ve finally found her, though a special livery, it is subtle. That’s why I bought it.

As far as the Gulf Air B787-9, is concerned, it was shipped last month but still hasn’t yet arrived. Wonder what happened!

The WestJet B787-9 arrived this week but was too lazy to click pics the day it arrived. I clicked the pics moments ago and....here she is!

Since WestJet B737-8 MAX planes are grounded (even at my airports), I decided to send the B787 on the late night Toronto to Calgary rotation WS675.

Coming soon...Emirates A380 A6-EEW Green Expo2020 Dubai livery ‘Sustainably’ by GeminiJets! Surprised by this decision, my friend, well, I bought her for two reasons, 1) I wanted to expand my Emirates A388 fleet and 2) I prefer the green one to the orange one, though I like the blue one the best if all 3 and the Blue one hasn’t yet been released!

Like Kev I'll also be looking forward to seeing your Emirates A380 in the green Expo 2020 livery when it arrives! The green livery looks great on the A380, while I think the orange livery looks the best on the B777. Surely the blue livery will follow..!
