Re: "Homzie's 1:400 and Beyond Speedbird Fleet and More..."

My friends, my WestJet fleet is finally complete with the additions of B737-800 C-GJLS and B787-9 C-GURP (both NG models). Initially, I was a bit skeptical about those models, but after receiving them, I'm glad I added them to my fleet. My WestJet fleet stands as...
2x B787-9
3x B737-MAX 8
3x B737-800
1x B737-700

I'll share a groupie of all my WestJet models soon...
here are the pictures of the WestJet B737-800 & B787-9!

https://ibb.co/B6PFRqQ
https://ibb.co/smHQk0z

my next update will feature two more new arrivals...two aircrafts which will make their debuts in my fleet, both are part of SkyTeam with the main hub of the airline at Atlanta!

Any guesses, my friends???

Meanwhile, I came across the Phoenix version (G-XWBB) and since I needed a BA A350-1000 for my upcoming Toronto diorama, I bought the Phoenix one instead. The reason why I bought XWBB was that when I added the model to my cart, BA used XWBB on the Heathrow to Toronto rotation and XWBA for the Heathrow to Dubai rotation.

I have infact bought the Delta A321(S) rather than the B757 because I wanted a smaller aircraft for one of my Atlanta rotations. It will be shipped sometime next week! I think Delta is starting to be one of my fav. airlines. It is indeed wonderful that GJ has made much of their fleet!!!

Thanks my friend, I know how much you love Emirates (and I think you should use 2 Emirates A380s for your New York diorama!) It is a good thing that I have flown on a few of those A380s (such as A6-EUJ, as recently as this trip).

Infact, I have seen a better Emirates fleet at your previous airport rather than the actual Dubai Airport, my friend. If you had to pick two (from my fleet), which ones would you choose? As in, if you had Dubai to New York EK A380 flights and you had to choose 2 for your airport to operate on special occasions such as your birthday, which ones would you choose?
I have three Aviation 400 A350's in my collection - they're wonderful models but knowing when the models will actually be released has always been a problem with the smaller manufacturers. I understand your reasoning for going with the Phoenix version my friend!

Too bad the Delta B757-200/WL won't land in your fleet Homzie, but the A321-200S is a nice alternative! It seems you're starting to build a Delta fleet now too? Delta do have a wonderful livery!

Regarding Emirates, I currently have two daily flights to Dubai from my New York diorama. These services are operated with a mix of the A380-800 on the first flight and the B777-300/ER on the second flight. Well my friend, I actually think the best Emirates livery is the standard Emirates livery! But, I would probably pick one of the Expo liveries or the Wildlife livery.

Anyway, nice WestJet models my friend - it seems NG have done a great job with these. I'll look forward to seeing your WestJet fleet photos!

Thanks for your wonderful comments, Cal. My Delta fleet is slowly increasing but due to certain restrictions such as Indian customs and exchange rates from US$ into INR my spending on this wonderful hobby has reduced considerably and I only buy what i need.
I have the Delta A321 to expect and also Air Canada Express CRJ-900 by Herpa to look forward to....only the one three Expo B777s!
Speaking of Delta, the smallest aircrafts of the Delta fleet arrived last week...CRJ-700 & MD-88. The A321 is coming soon...

My friends, two very special aircrafts landed in my fleet. They are the smallest ones in my collection and most probably the most delicate ones. Both are members of SkyTeam. The airlines are Delta Airlines and Delta Connection. One is a Bombardier and the other one is a McDonnell Douglas aircraft. They are of course, Delta McDonnell Douglas MD-88 and Delta Connection Bombardier CRJ-700 both made by GeminiJets. Here are the pictures...

Your Delta MD-88 looks fantastic Homzie - glad to see this one land in your fleet. I'll look forward to welcoming your CRJ-700 to New York on the daily flight from Toronto!

Agree with Cal, the Delta MD-88 is one of the most beautiful models ever.

Well Cal, I was a little hesitant but somehow got the courage to add those two Delta models to my fleet and Iím so glad I did. Iíll look forward to seeing (and admiring) your CRJ-700 from Toronto arrive at your New York airport too...I agree with you, the MD-88 looks good but I have to be so careful as itís so delicate my friend!

My friends, one of the important low cost airlines in North America is a Canadian airline based in Calgary with its other hubs at Toronto and Vancouver which offers flights to leisure destinations such as Maui and Honolulu to European destinations such as Paris and Barcelona. The airline in focus today is
WestJet
There are about 10 WestJet aircrafts in my fleet. They are...
B787-9 C-GUDH
B787-9 C-GURP
B767-300ER C-FOGJ
B737-800 C-GWRG
B737-800 C-FKWJ
B737-800 C-GZWS
B737-800 C-GJLS
B737-8 MAX C-FNWD - sad to see her grounded but safety first
B737-8 MAX C-FRAX - sad to see her grounded but safety first
B737-8 MAX C-GZSG - sad to see her grounded but safety first
B737-700 C-GWSO
Iím looking to add to my WestJet fleet if possible in the near future if theyíre available.
Here are the pictures...for you all to enjoy!

Excellent WestJet fleet Homzie! I think their B767’s look great and it’s nice to see one represented here before they retire. The new WestJet livery looks wonderful on the MAX 8.

Thanks Cal, the WestJet B767 is a very rare model as WS have only 4 in their fleet but only one (C-FOGJ) was made into a scale model. I really like the new WestJet livery too and I really want the new liveried B737-800 being released by GeminiJets.

British Airways have resumed B747-400 flights to Mumbai since December 1 (until Dec. 31 - to be back in the summer - on BA139/BA138). It is the turn of G-CIVP today. Quite frankly, I never expected BA to resume B744s to Mumbai so, it was a pleasant surprise!

If you liked this update, you'll surely love my next update, my friend! Any guesses, my friend? When do we all see an update from your end???

A WestJet B737-800 in the new livery would be a nice release indeed! It sounds like your next update will feature a certain Delta addition? As for my updates - Iím actually working on my next update this weekend, so I should have some photos to share very soon!

Cal, i am still waiting for WestJet to paint their B737-800 aircraft in new livery, which is still in the previous livery, surprisingly! There is something about the B737-800 that i like...maybe the winglets!!! GeminiJets are the favourites to release the WestJet B738 in new livery (when the aircraft is painted) and rest assured, it will join the fleet.

My next update is a Delta aircraft...stay tuned my friend!!! I'm anxiously awaiting your next flights out of the best airport based in New York!!!

Meanwhile, coming soon...
Emirates B77W A6-EPU (Green Expo2020) - stuck in customs
Emirates B77W A6-EPO (Orange Expo2020) - waiting to be shipped
Emirates B77W A6-EPK (Blue Expo2020) - waiting to be shipped
Air Canada A321 C-GJWO (Phoenix Models) - waiting to be shipped
Delta B737-900ER (Herpa) - shipped (will share the pics on my other thread once it arrives)
Air Canada Express Bombardier CRJ-900 - waiting to be shipped (will share the pics on my other thread once it arrives)
stay tuned for my top 10 in both scales!!!

Re: "Homzie's 1:400 and Beyond Speedbird Fleet and More..."

My friends, one more model joined the Delta family. This model is my only Airbus A321 in my fleet (with the second one arriving soon). The aircraft regularly visits Toronto Pearson, which is why I bought it. The model was made by GeminiJets and is an earlier model. I will enlist my top 10 models of 2019 in a couple of weeks, guess which one is #1.

Here she is...DELTA Airlines A321-200 (S) N302DN by GeminiJets400
