I’ll consider it once KLM starts using B787-10 on one of their two flights, till then, I’ll use B744, B777 and B787-9 for my Toronto Airport once my Terminal is ready. I was just making a list of other flights (not on my list) which operate into Toronto and the list is never ending it seems!

Hoping to see an update from your end soon, my friend!
I will definitely pick one up if a KLM B787-10 is released! My preference for this specific model would be Phoenix as my KLM B787-9 is also by Phoenix. I think you should definitely get one too though, as I believe the plan at KLM is to replace the remaining B747’s with B787-10’s.

Anyway, a nice collection of Asian and Middle Eastern heavies you have there Homzie! I’ll look forward to seeing some of these in action at your Toronto diorama!

Thanks Cal, out of the Asian/Middle Eastern groupie batch, only Korean B747-8i (as I don't have B787-9 and I'm not too keen on getting that), Cathay Pacific B777-300ER and Etihad B777-300ER will be used for my Toronto diorama.

Meanwhile, regarding the KLM B787-10, I was actually surprised that you'll go for Phoenix version as knowing you, I'd though that you'd go for GeminiJets but then after reading your reason, I think it makes perfect sense. I think Thom will be upset that you'll be replacing KLM B747s with B787-10, my friend!

However, KL691/KL692 will always be operated by B744 at my Toronto Pearson diorama until they're retired, after which B77W will take over...

My friends, I was just browsing videos on YouTube and I came across a very interesting video of a collector showing a comparison of all his 1/400 scale models. Well, I thought I'd share pictures of a variety of aircrafts that I collect.

I do have a few models as big as A380 to models as small as B737-700. The models are...(from smallest to the largest) -
B737-700 WestJet C-GWSO
B737-800 Delta Airlines N374DA
B737-8 MAX Air Canada C-FTJV
B737-9 MAX United Airlines N27515
A330-300 Air Canada C-GFAJ
B767-300ER WestJet C-FOGJ
B787-9 Oman Air A40-SC
A350-900 Qatar Airways A7-ALD
A350-1000 Qatar Airways A7-ANE
A340-600 Virgin Atlantic A340-600 G-VSHY
B777-200LR Air Canada G-FNND
B777-300ER Etihad Airways A6-ETA
B747-400M KLM Royal Dutch Airlines PH-BFW
B747-400 British Airways G-CIVC
B747-8i Lufthansa D-ABYS
A380-800 Emirates A6-EUC

You'll see some of them in action at my Toronto Pearson diorama which is coming soon!!!

Nice selection of models from your collection my friend! There are too many great ones to name them all, but the Boeing 767 with winglets is a great-looking aircraft - we have to make the most of these while they’re still in passenger service.

Thanks Cal. I agree that the B767-300ER is a very good looking aircraft with only 4 of them in active service with WestJet, which is quite rare since BA (and a few more airlines) retired their B767s (though BA never had those beautiful winglets). For some strange reason, I like aircrafts with winglets, such as B744, B737-800WL, etc...they add a whole new dimension to the aircraft. You're right my friend, we do have to take advantage of them while they're in active service, my friend!

Thank you my friend, Good Luck on getting some heavies for your airport which once finished will surely look fabulous. Which heavies are you getting? I like small planes too (with my fleet mainly comprising of Canadian and American B737s)...infact, another one arrived this afternoon!

Re: "Homzie's 1:400 and Beyond Speedbird Fleet and More..."

My friends, a much anticipated packet arrived this afternoon containing two models. Both airlines are members of oneworld alliance and both of them have been to Toronto Pearson International Airport recently. One makes the short hop from the home of Dallas Stars while the other makes the Atlantic crossing from Heathrow. They’re of course American Airlines B737-800 N920NN (NG models) & British Airways A350-1000 G-XWBB (Phoenix models). I was quite skeptical about the American B737-800 as it’s my very first NG models model. But, after receiving it today, I feel I quite like it.

I’m focusing more on collecting aircrafts which come to Toronto Pearson, hence I haven’t been collecting other aircrafts such as Qatar A350-1000 and Etihad A350-1000, both of which are on my wishlist. Meanwhile, I’m expecting 4 North American aircrafts next week so, I’ll probably have another update ready for you guys next week once they arrive.

Here are the pictures...thanks for viewing them, my friends!

Nice arrivals my friend - the British Airways A350-1000 is stunning! Are you still waiting for G-XWBA from AV400? Anyway, it looks like NG did a great job with the American B737! The 'American' wording looks to be a couple of shades too dark, but aside from that it seems like a great model!

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks my friend. I'm glad you liked this update, my friend! Unfortunately I won't be adding the British Airways A350-1000 G-XWBA once it is released because I don't require G-XWBA as I already have G-XWBB (which will operate the BA99/BA98 London Heathrow rotation as B744 is scheduled to operate BA93/BA92).

I'm increasing capacity on both flights as currently, A350-1000 operates BA93/BA92 and B787/B772 operate BA99/BA98 (as per the actual schedules).

I waited for the Phoenix one as the original GJ release doesn't have the 'Union Jack' on its winglets!

Regards the American B737, I haven't noticed the difference yet but, yeah, it is a wonderful model. I'm eyeing a few Delta ones such as A321(S) and B757-200WL (both by GJ)!

I know you're going to enjoy my next update coming soon, my friend! I think the pictures will remind you of...ahem!!!

Re: "Homzie's 1:400 and Beyond Speedbird Fleet and More..."

My ends, Dubai to Toronto is a very busy route with daily Air Canada flights (on B787-9 aircraft) and 5 weekly Emirates A380s operating as EK241/EK242. Once my airport is fully functional, these will be the 1/400 scale A380s operating EK241/EK242.
I have a couple of Emirates A380s (A6-EOE and A6-EUF) in 1/200 scale and a few more in 1/500 scale...
A6-EDC
A6-EDD
A6-EDH
A6-EDM (US Open)
A6-EDX (Expo2020)
A6-EEE
A6-EEI (United for Wildlife)
A6-EEJ
A6-EEN (Rugby World Cup 2015)
A6-EEP
A6-EER (United for Wildlife)
A6-EEW (Sustainability)
A6-EOD (Mobility)
A6-EOH
A6-EOU (Opportunity)
A6-EUC (new Expo2020)
A6-EUE
A6-EUJ
Thé models are a mix of Dragon Wings, GeminiJets and custom models! Thank you my friends for viewing!
Here are the pictures (coming soon!)

I knew you passed on the GJ version of G-XWBA, but I thought at one time you had ordered the Aviation 400 release? Still, it's nice to see a British Airways A350 land in your fleet regardless of the registration my friend! The A350-1000 is a good upgrade from the current mix of B747's, B777's and B787's.

Have you persuaded yourself to pick up those Delta models yet? Honestly, the Delta B757-200/WL is a gorgeous model - I have two in my fleet and they're easily among my favourites!

Anyway, you were right about your latest update - wow! What an amazing fleet of Emirates A380's you've collected! Your fleet would've easily put my former Emirates fleet to shame if I was still collecting Emirates models! I don't think I've ever seen so many A380 models in one photo

Thanks for sharing!

Cal, I'm glad you liked this update...I did add the BA A350-1000 Aviation400 model to my cart but I didn't check out as I was unsure of the release date. Meanwhile, I came across the Phoenix version (G-XWBB) and since I needed a BA A350-1000 for my upcoming Toronto diorama, I bought the Phoenix one instead. The reason why I bought XWBB was that when I added the model to my cart, BA used XWBB on the Heathrow to Toronto rotation and XWBA for the Heathrow to Dubai rotation.

I have infact bought the Delta A321(S) rather than the B757 because I wanted a smaller aircraft for one of my Atlanta rotations. It will be shipped sometime next week! I think Delta is starting to be one of my fav. airlines. It is indeed wonderful that GJ has made much of their fleet!!!

Thanks my friend, I know how much you love Emirates (and I think you should use 2 Emirates A380s for your New York diorama!) It is a good thing that I have flown on a few of those A380s (such as A6-EUJ, as recently as this trip).

Infact, I have seen a better Emirates fleet at your previous airport rather than the actual Dubai Airport, my friend. If you had to pick two (from my fleet), which ones would you choose? As in, if you had Dubai to New York EK A380 flights and you had to choose 2 for your airport to operate on special occasions such as your birthday, which ones would you choose?
