Re: *NG Models, Continental Airlines 737-800, up close...

NG Models certainly has become a force to be reckoned with in 1:400. Several holes in my collection are getting filled by NG models due to Gemini's puzzling decisions over the last year or so.

Having said that...nothing is perfect. When it comes to the 737 models I feel as if the engines on NG models are a bit too small. It's clear that the landing gear on their 737s are ever so slightly too long and that may throw off the overall look? Or is it that 737 engines from Gemini are too large?

I purchased an NG United -800 and when placed next to all the other 737s in my lineup (all Gemini) the NG just looked off.

So who is correct? Perhaps a comparison from someone who has better camera/lighting/photographic skills than me?

Great photos! Clicked into your link and looked at some other airlines too. Great lighting casting crisp shadows as would typically be the case on a sunny day. Is it all taken with artificial light? A standard table lamp or...?

I've so far only tried taking with natural indirect light and needless to say the shadows are softer and less authentic.
