I have to agree that both are wonderful models! The Air Seychelles A320 really surprised me and I actually prefer it now to the A330 that I had in my collection before. The TAAG B777 always looks classy with those wide cheat-lines running down the the extended fuselage of the -300/ER, it's a great model by Phoenix!

NEW ARRIVALS

Gemini Jets, Emirates Airbus A380-800, A6-EUC, "Expo 2020":

Gemini Jets, Qantas Airways Airbus A380-800, VH-OQF, Named "Charles Kingsford Smith":

I've also ordered the Air Arabia A320 from this batch of Gemini releases although I'm yet to receive the model. A6-EUC will be be replacing A6-EDX in my collection which carries the previous version of the "Expo 2020" titles. VH-OQF will also be replacing my existing model of VH-OQF which wears the previous version of the Qantas livery. Both models will be available on my eBay page soon.

WOW my friend, two icons of Dubai just landed in your fabulous fleet...can't wait for my A6-EUC to arrive so that she could operate flight EK 211 / EK 212 to Houston!!! However, the real aircraft is off to Dusseldorf as EK 055 right now!!! As for the Qantas A380, I'm ordering the Herpa version when it is released...can't wait for more arrivals from your end...from my end, only WestJet B767 and Emirates A380 A6-EUC to come!!!

Thanks my friend! I think you’ll be really impressed with A6-EUC when you receive your model. I guess the Qantas A380 is now a former icon of Dubai since they moved their stopover back to Singapore... Still, some of their Australia - Dubai services remain at my airport, hence the reason behind picking this one up. I hope Herpa do as good a job as Gemini have..! I’ll look forward to seeing that WestJet B767 as well!

Beautiful arrivals my friend. AirArabia is an important landmark for 1:400 scale where low cost/leisure airlines are often forgotten (i amnot referring to the most important like Vueling, Wizz, easyJet, Ryanair, etc.).
About Air Belgium i was undecided if buying it in 1:400 while i am waiting the model in 1:500 scale.

Thanks my friend! I agree, the Iberia A350 is stunning - I actually quite like the new livery even if it is quite minimalistic compared to the previous livery. No more new arrivals just yet, but I've got my eye on a few upcoming releases..!

The Air Arabia A320 sure is a fantastic release - I couldn't believe it when this got announced right after we got the Fly Duabi B737! There are of course airlines that are still missing from 1:400, but it's always nice when something from our wish-lists finally gets released. I would highly recommend the Air Belgium A340 from Phoenix - the detail they've included is first class and it's not often we get to add a 'new' A340 to our collections...

Thanks Daniel, I knew you'd like the Air Arabia model! As above, I'd really recommend the Air Belgium A340 from Phoenix - you won't regret adding it to your collection. I hesitated on the UPS B747-8/F for a while, but I'm glad I finally ordered one as it's another great model from Phoenix.

Cal,

That Air Belgium looks very sharp.

Be cautious with the nose gear on the "Joe Sutter." Mine will bend quite easily. I don't know if that is common with Phoenix 747s since mine is currently the only Phoenix 747 I own, but it seems more easily pranged than the Gemini ones.

Well Bahamut, I can definitely recommend the Air Belgium A340! Sure they’re not a big player in the airline world, but the livery is colourful and it’s not often we see a new A340 operator these days! If you decided to get the model you wouldn’t regret it - Phoenix have done a fantastic job.

Yes, the Phoenix landing gears are often quite fragile - the material they use seems softer than that used by other manufacturers... Seeing the UPS B747-8/F in your recent mish-mashes was actually what pursuaded me to get one of these for my own collection!

NEW ARRIVAL

AeroClassics, Jet Airways Boeing 737-8/MAX, VT-JXA:

This is a nice model although AeroClassics haven't got the colours quite right which is a shame. The underside of the fuselage should be light blue but AeroClassics have gone for more of a light grey tone. The model looks nice on it's own or in photos, but next to my Phoenix A330 the difference in colour is fairly noticeable. If the announced JC Wings example is ever released I'll likely pick it up as a possible replacement - Jet Airways models seem to be quite limited in this scale...
