Re: N3424V Collection Additions
I agree with Cal, it's very hard to distinguish the LH A319 from the Austrian and Turkish Airbuses!

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
Hi my friend, a new batch of wonderful pics. Delta A330neo and Lufthansa A319 are marvels among the marvels.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
A pair of nice 'mashes here Mike. I really like the lighting on the Alaska B737-900/ER - I wish I had this model in my collection! Also nice to see the British Airways TriStar featuring again.
Looking forward to seeing which new model you have selected for your collection!
- Cal.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
Love the Alaska flying 'over' the mountain in low sun conditions Mike! The Tristar at the gate looks neat too! Interesting to see the BA L1011 at ZRH!

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
Thanks my friends.
Here's the new addition, Gemini's Lufthansa A340-313 D-AIFD.

I know the A340s are almost gone, but I wanted to add this model to upgrade from the 17-year-old Dragon Air Canada model in the collection.
Keep those glances and glimpses coming.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
The A340 is a rare sight these days, so it's great to see this one still in service in your collection! It looks like Gemini have done a great job on this model, and of course, your first 'mash with your new arrival is also very nice.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
The Lufthansa A340 looks stunning in your new mash Mike, congrats on the purchase! For now the A340-300 remains active in Lufthansa's fleet.. But things can still change very rapidly here!

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
Thanks guys!
I've always thought the A340 "just looks right" for a four-engined bird. It is more traditional-looking than the iconic "Queen of the Skys" but it is none the worse for it.
Speaking of the Queen, here's a dual 'mash of the Lufthansa 747-8 and the A340.

Thanks for glancin' and glimpsin'.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
I completely agree Mike, the A340 has a great ‘look’ and seems to have a much cleaner design than the B747 in my opinion. The A340-500 is perhaps the best-looking A340! Anyway, nice ‘mash once again - it’s cool to see the differences between these two types in one image.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
Thanks Cal. While the 747 doesn't look "clean," the hump has its own appeal.
Here's a different attempt showing the A340 reflected in a gate window. This one brought along a couple of new challenges.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
You're right Mike, the B747 has it's own unique charm just like the A340. Anyway, this is quite the unique base image for a mish-mash! Great job on the reflections and very cool idea to attempt a 'mash like this.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
Sorry I haven't posted, but I've had some other image work on historical US Navy photos that required my attention.
Anyway, yes another Lufthansa, snowy 'mash attempt. It is winter for those of us in the northern hemisphere.

Please keep on a-glancin' and a-glimpsin. It is appreciated.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions
Gorgeous A321neo Mike! Amazing to see the snow visualized on the bird itself!
