Thanks Gents.

It is the time of year that calls for some snow 'mashes, so here's Southwest "Colorado One" at KMSP.

Cool bird Mike, I'm quite fond of these specials by Southwest. Combined with the nice snowy background, it's getting me into the christmas spirit.

Thanks Thom. I have another SW "state livery" 7-700 on the way.

Keeping with cold weather, snowy 'mashes, here'a an attempt with the Lufthansa A321 at Manchester.

Great A321neo Mike! Still not a huge fan of Lufthansa's bland livery though.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions

Thanks my friends.

Here's a 'mash attempt with a new addition to the collection. It is the NG models new Southwest Airlines B737-700 in the rather wild livery representing the US State of Maryland.

Southwest B737-700 (MD) above pushback combo by Mike Dillard, on Flickr

The model is one of three separate models of the same a/c. This one, one with the newer SW livery only on the tail and one of the bird with a temporary installation of a standard SW "canyon blue" nose.

I like that NGM released all three versions at the same time. I can imagine other opportunities for similar releases of multi-versions of the same airliner.

Thanks for glimpsin' and glancin'.

Re: N3424V Collection Additions

Pretty cool to hear that the manufacturer offers different models based on various states of the aircraft. I'm a sucker for these models in their new livery with the improved tail motive, though this one hasn't been repainted for all that long I believe.

Lucky to have seen it myself at Las Vegas - McCarran Airport

Thanks, as always, Thom.

Much like your photo, here's an attempt to show that the nose livery is different on each side. I'm working on a 'mash that will show the 4-way paint on the nose.

That's a good mash Mike! I never noticed the inversion of the white and red on the Maryland flag, depending on the side of the airplane. TIL something new
