BA worldtail 737-400: My 1:200 collection

in this thread I'll show some of my 1:200 models, certainly not all at once but with updates from time to time.

The first is the Aeroflot YAK-40, a recent Herpa release. Though not perfect, it is a quite nice model.
It comes with a half transparent plastic stand and the rear door can be displayed in closed or open condition. There's even a little tool included that helps to change the rear door.

Actually I like it so much that I also bought the Estonian Air YAK-40. Photos coming soon.
Hope you like this. Comments are of course welcome

Re: My 1:200 collection

That's a really nice little model
If i would have enough space, i would switch my whole collection into 1:200 scale i think.
Thank god, there isn't enough space.

Pretty nice photography! Very well done

Re: My 1:200 collection

Thanks for your nice comments.
Oh yes, space is also a big problem for me, therefore I'm far away from switching.
In 1:200 I mainly collect Lufthansa and Interflug and everything I find an excuse for
For example the YAK, because it's a type you can't find in 1:400. And Herpa did a great job making these smaller sowjet types like Antonov AN-2/12/24 and YAK-40. I'll also get an AN-12, though I'm not happy that they didn't make a diecast model.

Re: My 1:200 collection

Wow! Nice pictures of an amazing little jet! I wish we could see those in the U.S...
I love the details on 1/200 scale models like this, and I hope that one day, 1/400 will be just as neat. I considered collecting them once, but they were too expensive...
I can't wait to see more!

Re: My 1:200 collection

Thanks for your comment, glad you like it
Here is my second YAK-40, the beautiful Estonian Air. Not only there's no YAK-40 in 1:400, but there's also absolutely nothing from Estonian Air. Many people always complain about Herpa and praise 1:400 for the varity, but when it comes to European airlines from smaller countries Herpa is often the only one doing them . Unfortunately just not in 1:400

Re: My 1:200 collection

Well, just beautiful! Thanks for the photos Jorg. It seems that Herpa is really GREAT producing 1:200 civil and military airplanes and 1:400 models (great quality), while the 1:500 scale has become the weak point.

Re: My 1:200 collection

Thanks, Alessandro

Today I show you my Phoenix BA 737-400. I still like the BA world tails. My plan is to put them on an extra shelf, with this model in the center and the other 1:400 and 1:500 world tails arranged arround it.

Re: BA worldtail 737-400: My 1:200 collection

thanks In 1:200 that's the only world tail. But I also have an Inflight200 BA 744 in the current livery.
I have 15 world tails in 1:400 and 3 in 1:500 (Herpa OG)
